Claire the manager of care select has made this transition easier in her quick planning and dedication to make sure our nana gets the correct level of care for her needs. All the carers are a wonderful group of friendly, kind, empathic people, who alongside their different ages and personalities, were always cheerful, took time to chat and didn't rush her. They provided first class support with her personal care needs and gave help with any small household jobs. Their trustworthiness, dependability and punctuality helped to ensure, that in the absence of us her family, we had peace of mind that she was receiving excellent care.

My mum has received excellent care from Care Select. The staff are punctual, reliable & friendly, having a joke & a chat with her, but also responsive to her needs. She regards her regular carers as friends, & they recently helped her to celebrate her 93rd birthday.

The carers are of mixed ages but compliment each other and in particularly with my sister keep her young at heart and communicate with her making her laugh when she has days she might be down.
It's very much an open door policy where as a family member you can ask questions or concerns or ring them for advice. They are there to help.

The team is always so friendly, respectful, and genuinely caring nothing is ever too much trouble for them. My Nana really enjoys their visits and always speaks so highly of them.
They also looked after my Grandad before he passed away, and I will always be grateful for the compassion and dignity they gave him during that time. He received the very best care, and knowing he was in such good hands gave us so much peace of mind.

One issue where his tea time visit was only one apart from his night time. Dad did inform me that the supervisor visited and she would ensure it would not happen again.

My experience with Care Select since last year has been a positive one, I also look after my father-in-law and attend to his everyday needs. The carers that come on a daily basis, in my opinion, have been professional, attentive and enjoy the job. My father-in-law seems content and shows no signs of distress in their company. They all do a wonderful job and seem dedicated to their profession. I have no qualms with the duty of care given to my father-in-law, all the carers are trustworthy, polite and caring in my opinion.

I came home from hospital after three weeks there, I had been very ill. My carers were there for me and still are. They are a wonderful team who spoil me with care and happiness! They work effortlessly after sometimes long hours. They come in smiling and if my radio is on I just love when they sing whilst they are tending to me! What a great team you have! I feel I have friends now, I am so grateful to all in the office too. A big thank you.
I can't praise them enough, ten out of ten from me.

Meet the Team (3)
Claire brings more than 20 years of care experience to her role as Care Manager at Care Select. She has worked in community-based care and care homes throughout her career and has invested her time in achieving NVQ level 5 in Health and Social Care to add to her many other professional qualifications. This excellent experience and her passion for delivering the best service to both clients and staff, make her the ideal person to lead the Care Select operation.
Claire's success is founded upon her particular skills in developing excellent relationships with both carers and clients and ensures that regular communication and monitoring is an ongoing, open-ended process. She readily adapts to our client's changing requirements, and this is a key feature of the management ethos of Care Select.
Claire and her husband are native to Northwich and have a family of boys. Luckily, Claire shares a passion for cricket with them!
Nic's desire to move into Care Management has resulted from her career progression over the past 4 years beginning as a carer, promotion to Senior carer then on to Deputy Manager. Her active enthusiasm for excellent customer care gives both clients and staff confidence that they can contact her freely to discuss all aspects of their daily life.
She is currently undertaking NVQ level 5 in Health and Social Care and expects to complete this very soon. As a qualified trainer, Nic supports our substantial carer training programme and also assists other carers venturing on the NVQ trail.
Before joining Care Select Nic spent time working in the Canary Islands. She's also a qualified Chef, so if we're stuck for what to have for tea at any time, Nic is our automatic 'Go To'!
Lin was welcomed to the team in September 2015. She brought a wealth of experience and expertise in customers which she gained in the home care and retail sector. Lin started with Care Select as a carer and progressed through to Senior Carer and has now undertaken the responsibility for arranging all care schedules in her role as Care Co-ordinator.
Lin has also undertaken specialized 'Train the Trainer' courses to enable her to support our training and development programmes.
Lin has always lived in the Northwich/Winsford area so is best placed to perform efficient and effective rota planning for our carers to work to.
In her spare time, Lin enjoys well-being activities such as swimming and the gym and walking her SIX dogs!
