My Sister has been receiving care from Support at Home since April 2021. In recent weeks her mobility has reclined greatly. The support workers notified the office staff who promptly informed myself and the OT who came out and assessed her needs, equipment was put in place, All the ladies are wonderful with my sister, they all go above and beyond for her. We would be lost without them.

When we started using this company the service was excellent with great communication but over the last month or so the service is not as good as it was. When we engaged the company we were asked what time we wanted the visits which have been entered onto the care plan. Over the last month or so quite often these times have not been adhered to leaving the client having to try and make her own food not knowing if the carer was going to turn up. I appreciate it's not always possible to keep to a schedule but if there needs to be an odd time change the client should receive a phone call to advise of the change.
Thank you for your feedback. We're really pleased to hear that you experienced excellent service and communication when your care package first started, but we're very sorry to learn that this has not been consistent more recently.
We completely understand how important it is for visit times to...

The only issue that causes me concern is the fact that there seems to be no travel time for the carers between appointments, putting a lot of pressure on them, and that can affect their care of the client, as well as the well being of the carer. As a client I know I have to be flexible about the time a carer arrives due to traffic hold ups, and replacement of the scheduled carer, due to emergencies that arise, but I can heartily recommend this carer service working successfully under difficult circumstances.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed and thoughtful review.
We're really pleased to hear your positive feedback about both our carers and office team. It's especially encouraging to know that the care provided is professional, friendly and of a high standard, and that our team...

Support at Home provided care for my mum over the last few years. The ladies were so kind and lovely to her and she was able to build good relationships, even friendships with them. The team were an amazing support to the family during Mum's last few weeks and went above and beyond to make sure Mum had the care she needed, in order to remain at home. Massive thanks to all the carers and the office staff. Keep up the good work!

I have been with Support at Home since 2018, I love all my carers, they have given me lots of support with day-to-day things and things I struggle with. The office staff and owners are amazing and I hope I'm with them for a long time. I see them all like family as I don't have any. I look forward to them coming to brighten up my day and hope I never lose them as I struggle a lot. Always there to help and on the phone if I need then in the office.

Any problems have been dealt with straight away. A lovely team. The staff are friendly and caring. Very tolerant and pleasant. All hard-working and great company. It's a real pleasure to work with them all.

It's our top priority to provide friendly, caring, and professional service, and we're glad to know that we've met your expectations. Your appreciation means the world to us, and we look forward to continuing to support you with the same dedication and care.
Overall the care standard is good and the continuity of staff is better than the previous agency we used. The things that make me give a 3-star rating are that one of the carers really clashes with my Mum and though I have repeatedly asked for her to be minimised or removed she hasn't been. I know this is not easy if there are staff shortages or people on holiday but it is frustrating to have my Mum repeatedly distressed by what should be a care visit. Also, I was promised that I could communicate with the carers and office via an app and a communication book left at the property. Neither of these have turned out to be reliable and the only way I can communicate efficiently seems to be by phone call to the office. This too is frustrating. Other than that I believe my Mum is happy with the care received, I find the office staff friendly to deal with and the prices are competitive.
Thank you for your review. We're pleased that you find our care standards good and that the continuity of staff has improved compared to your previous agency. We regret the challenges you've faced with care and communication tools. We understand the importance of your mum feeling comfortable with...
One of my PAs went on long-term sick, so I had to get an agency to cover the sick PA. Therefore, my social worker suggested that I should go with Support at Home, who has been awfully helpful. Especially three ladies, as my care, is somewhat rare because I work, go to pubs, and go to meetings, which have caused a few teething problems with setting up my care plan. We are actively working through these teething problems and it would be unfair of me to comment on the possible conclusion of these teething problems as they are still ongoing. However, I can comment on the niceness of the Support at Home staff, who are always happy to help where they can. They are surprised that they do not have many clients like me, so they must get to know me, which takes some time. Considering that I am new to Support at Home, so they are doing tremendously well.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with Support at Home. We truly appreciate your understanding and patience as we work through the initial setup of your care plan. We're committed to ensuring that your unique needs are fully met and we're glad to see that our staff's dedication and...
