Flexible and responsive service from Karandeep the manager. The carers (elderly care for mobility) were efficient and reliable, and in the few cases where we needed to provide specific feedback, matters were dealt with efficiently.
Bluebird Care Harrow have been providing care once a week to allow my father a break from caring responsibilities. I reached out to them when my dad was suddenly admitted to hospital as my step-mother would need a lot of support. They were so kind and reassuring and explained the options available. At extremely short notice they organised the care package needed, including a carer staying overnight. I'm so very grateful for their professionalism and kindness and for the wonderful team of carers.
We choose Bluebird due to their extremely good reputation in the community. All I can say is in the months of them having a live in carer at our family home. They deserve the great reputation they have gained over the years they have given the best care around!
Where initially we were not happy with the carer provided and really quite disappointed, this was resolved immediately. The carer that was subsequently provided, is great and my mother is very happy. Even the carer that has covered any leave in the past, has equally been great and there has been no drop off in service and care. Any dealings with the office have always been polite, helpful and professional.
Overall, BlueBird are good, however, there can be some issues with visits being late or visits that were meant to be cancelled were not. The staff are really friendly, helpful and are really easy to contact.
My carer is an amazing carer. Not only does she take amazing care of me but I see her as a friend. She’s a lovely person. She’s extremely patient and kind. Another carer who comes at the weekend is also very professional and looks after my every need with care and respect.
Excellent service. Very good understanding and care of my dad. The carers have shown excellent commitment. I would happily recommend Bluebird Care to others in need of such care. Thank you to two staff members in particular and the others. Thank you.
The owners and managers go above and beyond the call of duty and it doesn’t matter what time of day or night, they are there with love and support.
I have the most wonderful live-in carer from Bluebird, who is looking after my darling auntie who is nearly 96 years young, to be honest, if it wasn’t for one staff member in particular, at Bluebird and the care shown to my auntie, she wouldn’t be here now.
The dedication and passion that Bluebird Harrow show is amazing and knowing my auntie is safe and well-loved, fed and looked after, gives me peace of mind.
My father-in-law is also under the care of Bluebird in Harrow. He loves every day knowing, he is going to have the visits.
Two staff members in particular, at Bluebird in Harrow and all the staff, don’t just care for the person they are looking after, but for the families of those they look after too.
They are a reliable, honest and trustworthy agency to care for loved ones.
Save your time and money and avoid this agency where nepotism is king and the quality of the service delivered is sub-par, paying a premium for it.
I can tell you that one manager was going on and on about another previous manager when in fact they never met!
If they are capable of opinionating about someone they never met, it shows the true ethics of this Brent branch.
We are sorry to read your disappointment with the services you received. We do hope that our service users make the most of the reviews, surveys, one-to-ones and other opportunities provided to raise concerns with us. When this happens our team quickly responds to address concerns and we do our...
You definitely get what you pay for, Bluebird Care is not the cheapest provider but my experience has been they have the BEST carers for my mum. The carers are friendly, super professional and nothing has been too much trouble. This is the 3rd provider we’ve used over the last 7years. They’re so good and the best thing is that we’ve had one Carer for the last 5 years. She’s amazing. What would we have done without her? The office staff are polite and on the whole always willing to help with rotas available in advance. There is definitely an air of professionalism when you meet the carers. So grateful that they are looking after mum to high standards especially as she is not able to help herself now. Well done Bluebird Team!
My carers have been very kind. The service is excellent and very happy.
After much research and meeting assessors from two agencies, my daughter and I decided on Bluebird. Their 24-hour service is a confidence builder. The office staff are helpful, sympathetic and courteous. The carers are polite and know what is required.
I am happy with the service I have been receiving, the carer is prompt and efficient and does the cleaning work I want her to do. She normally takes about an hour to do the work.
Thank you very much, Bluebird Care.
Bluebird Care looks after my father, the carers who visit are very well trained, kind and gentle. My father looks forward to seeing them daily as they have a great relationship. I am very pleased with the service we get from Bluebird Care and the office.
Bluebird Care has provided good service to my husband, carer is excellent.
The standard of care by the carer is very good. They are a great support to me. I am very grateful for the help received from Bluebird Care Brent.
Our experience with Bluebird Care has been great!
We are very pleased with our carer. She is very comfortable and helpful very thoughtful with mum. She is also hard-working and patient, also resourceful. She is cheerful and friendly, keen to help at all times. Very understanding nature, responsible to leave mum with as I have to go out sometimes. A very praiseworthy person.
The care service is very good taking into consideration the client needs. They respect the client condition and needs and deal with them in a professional manner.

Meet the Team (11)
Prafula started off as a care worker at a large care company and worked herself up to be a care coordinator but became frustrated with the way things were run. She could see inefficiencies and vast problems that made consistency of care difficult to provide. Determined that a home care company could do better she obtained all the necessary leadership and care management qualifications and founded Bluebird Care (Harrow) in 2007. Due to the great reputation, she had built in Harrow she decided to open her second franchise (Brent) in 2012 to follow in her footsteps.
“We recognise that each person is valuable and unique with his and her own purpose, personality and history”.
Munjal has a background in Business and Entrepreneurship, having worked for a number of start-ups and big companies including running his own shop. However, through his family, he had personal experience of the poor level of care delivered and along with Prafula he passionately believed that care could and should be done better.
“The package of care is specifically tailored to the needs of our customers, and this is reviewed frequently to ensure it continues to meet the person’s needs”.
Ushma, Munjal and Prafula’s daughter, has been a member of the Bluebird Care (Harrow)’s team since it first opened in 2007. She was also introduced to the care industry by both her parents at a young age. Working closely with her mother and brother she gained first-hand experience of running a busy day-to-day care business.
Ushma is qualified in Level 5 in Health and Social Care and holds a BSc Honours degree in Media Business, Ushma works very closely with her brother Chaitan who is both responsible for managing both Bluebird Care (Harrow and Brent).
“People with dementia are still people who still have stories and character, they are all individuals. They just need to be interacted in a human level”.
Chaitan, Munjal and Prafula's son has been a member of the Bluebird Care (Harrow)’s team since it first opened. He was introduced to the care industry by both his parents at a young age. Working closely with his mother Prafula he has gained first-hand experience and has learnt the majority of his skills and obtained the knowledge of how to run a busy day-to-day care business.
“Nothing is more important than helping people live their full, independent, dignified lives within the comfort of their own homes”.
Dean Morley has joined our team as an Operations Manager. His primary role is to support and manage our registered care manager, help us to improve the quality of our services, and develop and grow our business.
Dean joins us with nearly two decades of experience in health and social care, education and marketing. As a former registered care manager of Bluebird Care (Ealing) between 2016 to 2023, he is an expert in our policies, procedures and ethos.
“I started as a care assistant in 2006 and realised that this is the industry I will dedicate my life to. I have quickly progressed to work as a coordinator and supervisor. A few years ago, I stepped up the ladder as a manager, but really found out that teaching is my biggest passion. I understood that knowledge is a power so I moved away from day-to-day managing onto learning and developing and found the perfect role with Bluebird as I can enjoy both roles in one. I believe that when staff has in-depth knowledge about how to look after people properly, they will have the correct tools to deliver true person-centred care”.
Janvi started at Bluebird Care in January 2021 and proved to be a fantastic care assistant. She has worked her way up to be our home care specialist in Brent. We look forward to an exciting career ahead.
“I have never worked in the health sector before, but since I joined Bluebird Care, I have realised that the health sector is where I belong. Every time I help a customer, the smile that comes on their face makes this job the best that there is. The team is very supportive, they have guided and helped me to create a better future, it feels like I work with my family. I am very grateful to join the team and work with such highly motivating and professional people”.
Karandeep used to work with our Bluebird Care (Ealing) franchise and was identified as being an outstanding care assistant, with the most incredible work ethic and kind nature. We are now delighted that he has progressed into his current role at Bluebird Care (Harrow & Brent), and no doubt this is still just the beginning of his journey at Bluebird Care.
Karandeep is a fantastic support to our team of outstanding care assistants and ensures that our customers receive a timely, reliable and personalised service.
Kishan is a fantastic example of someone who progresses their career through high-quality care and dedication. Starting as a care expert, Kishan earned promotions to a supervisor role and is now a home care specialist.
Radi is our newest member of the management team at Bluebird Care (Harrow & Brent). He joins us as a home care specialist, drawing on years of experience supporting clients with mental health and community care needs.
With over 10 years of experience in all aspects of accounts and finance, Kanu joined our team at Bluebird Care in July 2015. He is a fully qualified member of the Association of Accounting Technicians. Kanu's role includes invoicing, payroll, and customer advice around the financial aspects of care.
