Bluebird Care have been very helpful and caring. Both my parents suffer from dementia which is very challenging. Bluebird have helped us navigate some difficult situations and are always ready to answer our many questions as this is all new to us. They are always at the end of the phone when we need
support, nothing seems too much trouble for them. Thank you all.

We have a live in carer supplied by Blue Bird care. She has been with us now for nearly 2 years looking after my husband and is exemplary in every way. We are extremely pleased with the care she gives to my husband. She is a pleasure to have around. She looks after all his needs including personal
care. I usually cook and shop etc but she is able to do all those tasks if I am away.
Reply from Sophie Whitfield, Director at Bluebird Care South GloucestershireThank you for leaving such a lovely review, it is an absolute pleasure caring for your husband. with best wishes, Sophie

The care for my husband, who has Parkinson's Disease, has been excellent. The carers are kind and supportive. The management is very approachable and almost always manages any request for a change of time if necessary because of appointments, etc.
Definitely recommend.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the carer for her really kind help this morning. My grandpa had fallen in the bathroom and she called me and stayed with him and made him comfortable on the floor until I got there to pick him up off the floor. She's always super friendly and helpful and I really
appreciated her going above and beyond today to help my fallen grandpa! Great work!

Excellent caring. Would request one staff member, in particular, full time with another on holiday breaks. So pleased.
Reply from Sophie Whitfield, Director at Bluebird Care South GloucestershireThank you, Gail, for taking the time to write this review - it is always a delight to hear of people pleased with our service.
Having high "Continuity of Care" brings so many benefits in terms of safety and how effective the care can be, plus it allows for a stronger relationship between our customers and carers. It is one of the most important things in care so we always work hard to keep the number of carers a person sees to an absolute minimum.
With kind regards.

Bluebird Care comes to get my son up and put him to bed most days. Every single carer has been kind and considerate and nothing is too much trouble. The carers treat my son with the utmost respect as well as having fun whilst they are with him. Whenever we ring the office it's the same, everyone is
extremely helpful and accommodating and cannot do enough to help.
I cannot praise every single person we have dealt with at Bluebird Care enough.
I would highly recommend.

Bluebird has been my provider for 14-months. I find the staff excellent in their care for me. I only have one complaint, and that is the timing of my morning visit, which has been too early. I have very bad nights and cannot wake up for an early call. The office staff have tried to give me some better
calls, but not on a regular basis.
Reply from Jack Whitfield, Director at Bluebird Care South GloucestershireGood afternoon, so good to see you at our Platinum Jubilee Party a fortnight ago - it was lovely to have a good chat with you at our first event since the start of Covid. Hope to see you again soon at the next event, which will be a Harvest Supper-themed Bingo party!
I have just checked with the coordinators and am pleased to see that you are now getting your morning visit at your preferred later time of 9 am.
All the best.

My stepfather has had the most amazing care from the Bluebird carers. They have helped him cope at a very upsetting time, while his wife has been in a hospice receiving treatment for terminal liver cancer over the last six weeks. My dad has a very needy nature and can be quite demanding, however with
the compassion and care he has received, it has helped me focus on the needs of my mum completely without worrying at all about him. Thank you.
Reply from Jack Whitfield, Director at Bluebird Care South GloucestershireThank you so much for taking the time to write this review, especially during this difficult time. I am glad to hear that the carers are making what difference they can, to make things as easy as possible. With warm regards.

My family decided on Bluebird Care for their attention to detail and genuine interest when we approached them initially. We had an interview with them in my brother-in-law's home and they took great care in answering all his questions as well as ours, his family.
Since then he has received fantastic
care from a main carer and a couple of others. Continuity of care, with people whom he had gotten used to, was a priority and this Bluebird have achieved.
My brother-in-law is so pleased with the support he receives, as are we as a family. It is comforting to all concerned he is getting such a high standard of support and care.
Thank you, Bluebird. Well done.
Reply from Jack Whitfield, Director at Bluebird Care South GloucestershireThank you so much for taking the time to write this, it really means a lot to hear such words from someone with your background! Good continuity brings so many benefits, too many to mention even, and is the keystone of a good experience with home care.

We have been with Bluebird Care for a couple of years now, to be honest, they have given my partner the most wonderful care, nothing is ever too much.
I had a feeling with Covid-19 that we may have struggled with the care situation.
I have nothing but praise for them all, they have been extremely
professional, not once have we been let down. Bluebird Care has been just brilliant.
No matter what happens in the future with Covid 19, I know my partner will be looked after with great love and care.
Reply from Jack Whitfield, Director at Bluebird Care South GloucestershireThank you so much for these kind words - this is what it is all about! It will always be a privilege to hear that the care we provide is making a difference, so thank you for taking the time to do so.
We are incredibly proud of the way all the staff have responded to the COVID-19 situation. It is their sticking to meticulous hygiene measures that have kept all our customers safe through this difficult time. Hopefully, things will start to get easier soon.

Looking at April 2020 in what has been a challenging time it has been very good that Bluebird have been able to still provide their care team for my mother who has dementia and mobility issues. We have the same carer for the morning and lunchtime visit and this carer has built a very good relationship
with my mother which is vital for somebody with dementia. The morning/lunchtime carer goes about her task's efficiently with a happy disposition and nothing seems like to much trouble. The teatime and bedtime visits are now split between two carers who come on alternative days. The package now is all about stability which I believe is very important for the well being of my mother. I cannot fault the care team who come to our home, the times, the care they provide and the fact they are really nice people who seem to care about my mother. The best compliment I can give is to say I would not want to change anything about the care Bluebird provide.
Reply from Jack Whitfield, Director at Bluebird Care South GloucestershireThank you very much for taking the time to review our service. Keeping people such as your mother in the familiar comfort of their own homes is so important to them and is what we care passionately about. We are always looking to improve and hope that you continue to enjoy the service we provide.

  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
