Overall Experience

Care4u have been wonderful with our grandma. From the very first phone call to enquire, right up until care was no longer needed, they treated grandma and the rest of the family with kindness and respect. The carers, have been fantastic and helped grandma maintain as much independence as possible while also helping with the things she can no longer do. Management in the office are friendly and approachable and genuinely care about their clients and staff. I highly recommend Care4u to anyone who is in need of extra support.

I can honestly say that I am so pleased to have chosen Care4u to care for my husband who has Alzheimer’s and no mobility. The manager and all the staff are so helpful and friendly and have been a great help in guiding me to look after my husband. I know I can depend on them at all times. Would certainly recommend them. They treat my husband with respect and dignity.

Care4u have been in situ for four months so I feel I am now in a position to write this review. All members of the team present in a professional manner at all times. They treat Mum with kindness and their principles and standards are excellent. All visits are recorded efficiently and proactively ring/email me within minutes if they highlight any concerns which is a great comfort as I live out of the area. Two-way communication is excellent. Care4u was chosen as they could guarantee no more than four carers would be assigned to Mum at any one time, with one carer visiting routinely over five days. This continuity was vital as Mum suffers from Dementia, is an elderly, frail lady with a complex medical history and medicine regime and any decline or concerns are reported immediately. Initially Mum was very reluctant to allow carers into her daily life (four visits daily) but now admits she would not be able to live in sheltered housing without their input, and now looks forward to their visits and daily chats.

After being ill I had a live-in carer for a time but as I got better I only needed a little help and these carers now help me live an independent life and allow me to stay in my own home, they are reliable and friendly. If I’m having good or bad days they are always there. I look forward to them coming through the door.

My grandma suffers from Alzheimer’s and psychosis so can be extremely difficult to care for at times but the agency has been brilliant at dealing with her needs and understanding of her day to day concerns. They are always in close contact with ourselves and have been very reliable during the coronavirus pandemic. They have gone above what was necessary in such a difficult time when shielding has been in full force. Thank you!

With my age and condition, it is not possible to write in words - walking to work in deep snow only angels can do. I would recommend them to H M the Queen for the honour which they surely deserve.

The manager and her team are excellent and we're so pleased to have chosen them to care for my mother-in-law. They are reliable and of course, very caring, very patient and they treat my mother-in-law with respect. She is very comfortable with the care and company they provide. We have a diary to help family members know what is going on a day-to-day basis and the manager helps us communicate with her by using this diary as well as her own file notes. She is flexible and is a huge support to all of us.

All the family are very happy with the level of care that is given to my mother. Each carer that comes to look after my mam is very responsive to her needs.

Could not wish or imagine a better service provider, really can't speak highly enough about this company. The owner of the company actually provides some of the care herself, also her carers are second to none.
