We've been going through an extremely tough 8 months....this last month we had to move the place of mums care...helping hands team were excellent in meeting the requirements. Addaping a plan that suited mum and the situations that have arrisen. Our thanks to the team for being so understanding and not adding to our situation and always trying to help!
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really do appreciate it.
It is great to hear that during what has clearly been a very challenging time, the team were able to support you and your mum when her care needs changed. We are also delighted to know that the team adapted the care...
The Ferndown team are providing caring and supportive assistance to my uncle who has dementia and lives on his own. The carers keep me updated in a timely fashion with any concerns or issues that need addressing and offer useful and helpful suggestions as to how to improve the support they give. As I live a distance away this is extremely useful and knowing that a carer visits daily reassures me that my uncle is safe and well.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really do appreciate it. We are delighted to hear that the Ferndown team are providing caring, supportive and reliable assistance to your uncle, and that they are keeping you well informed with timely updates and helpful...
Generally very supportive and helpful given that family do not live local to Mum. All carers work well and compassionately to support Mum despite continuity of Mum's carers being difficult to maintain. It is always easy to contact the branch either by phone or email. I feel my questions, concerns and requests are listened to and acted upon. All Mum's carers are respectful of her contribution to her own care, they listen to her and respect her wishes. Helping Hands support is allowing Mum to stay where she wants, in her own home.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really do appreciate it. We are pleased to read how supportive and compassionate the team have been, particularly given that family are not local, and that you have found it easy to stay in touch with the branch by phone or...
My mum has been diagnosed with dementia and latterly with a terminal disease. It has left her very confused at times but at other times she is fully aware of where she is and can get very upset about small changes. We have engaged Helping Hands to help ensure that medication is administered and that help and companionship is available.
They have been very flexible with changing needs and undertake various tasks to allow her to stay in her own home.
We are genuinely pleased...
The Ferndown Team have been so caring and supportive for my father and their dedication and allowed him to stay in his own home for 3 years. They showed great flexibility and initiative in problem solving. He received the highest level of care and company during this time and we are so grateful for everything they have done.
Good Afternoon,

The management behind the scenes is fantastic in every way if help is needed.
Terrence,
We are comforted knowing you feel our carers are willing, punctual and supported by a fantastic management team.
Your lovely feedback means so much to all.

We all hope we'll never need care, but if you do, I'd recommend HH Ferndown.
Thank you to everyone at Helping Hands Home Care. Always someone to care.
Hi, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We really appreciate your feedback. Best wishes.
Also, think that there are times when my mother doesn't get her full 45 minutes care! Which is not good! (My mother has Alzheimer's disease).
We have had a number of carers over time. They have always been timely, courteous and mindful of our changing needs, especially over the period of the pandemic, as we were shielding. They have responded well to occasional changes to our schedule.
My mother finds the carers extremely friendly and helpful. They do exactly what asked to do, and often she does not need to ask them what to do as they use their own initiative.
I have experience of an alternative caring company, thus mental comparisons could be made.
I already have recommended Helping Hands to two sets of neighbours. I am happy with the care I receive. They arrive on time are kind and helpful. I enjoy a variety of carers during the weeks as the differences in interests and family life are also interesting for me. They are always very pleasant, helpful and professional. I do have to phone up to ask who is coming the following week and what time as I prefer to know in advance.
The service is good, but all we require is ironing and general cleaning (dusting, hovering), so our experience is rather limited.
