Bluebird Care have provided outstanding care, from domiciliary to live in. They have always been kind, considerate and efficient in their delivery of my aunt's care needs and wishes. Bluebird remained our constant until my aunt sadly passed away recently. I would highly recommend Bluebird if you are looking for a bespoke care package that considers your loved one and their families.

I have used Bluebird Care Southend and Rochford until recently as my father sadly passed away on the 19th of December 2023. The carers who came in twice a day to deal with his personal care needs were lovely. My father had a good relationship with them all and they were professional, compassionate and a credit to Bluebird. Bluebird Care provide services to both my parents who have vastly different needs; one is physically very ill and the other has dementia. I am very happy with the behaviour and standard of care the carers provided to my mum. I would prefer that changes to rota times were communicated in advance, as mum is dependent on regular medication. I have knocked one star off for occasional carelessness, such as leaving the back door open and the gas hob on, which can be a serious impact on such a vulnerable person and can easily be avoided. Overall the family are pleased with the standard of care.

Can’t recommend Bluebird (Southend & Westcliff branch) highly enough for the kindness, care and support given to my mother-in-law and us during our time as service users (she has now gone into a care home). Communication was great and always felt comfortable phoning the office about anything. They tried to accommodate any requests and worked with us to help her remember to complete daily tasks, often making helpful suggestions. We will always be thankful for their input.

Initially Mum had daily support with 2 visits which worked well, later when she and I needed more support a care package was carefully put in place and tailored to Mum's needs which were reviewed regularly. This entailed having live-in care whereby Mum had care and company. She had several regular live-in carers with whom she became very fond. The care and support they gave Mum were mostly excellent. She has now moved into a care home after an emotional farewell to them but they are still keeping in touch and she has already had a visit from one of her regular ladies. We have always had a very good relationship with both the carers and the office staff who have always had Mum and our best interest in mind.

Good quality live-in care, for my mother. Her carer does everything for my mother and has the patience of a saint. Mum gets to do exactly what she wants, when she wants, eats what she wants and obviously one to one care that is totally tailored to Mum.

Bluebird Care has put care in place for my sister since September 2021, to date. Two visits a day. Conscientious in advising me of anything that needs attention, or anything untoward in her condition. Friendly, reliable service. Flexible regarding any extra needs. I arranged this long-distance without meeting the team as I live a few hours drive away. All arranged by emails and telephone. Has gone like clockwork, very efficient management. This has allowed my 95-year-old sister to remain in her own home and I have peace of mind regarding her welfare and health from day to day. A well deserved thank you, to all the team from both of us.

Care is excellent and good communication and always informs me of any concerns. While mum was in hospital phoned to enquire of her wellbeing frequently. contacts the Doctor if any issues or concerns, e.g nurse visits.

Kellie is a naturally passionate and attentive individual, with a real eye for care.
Since embarking on her career with Bluebird Care, Kellie has successfully established relationships with both customers and fellow care assistants, this has allowed her to match the skills and abilities of the care worker with the needs of the customer, yielding maximum customer and job satisfaction.
Kellie consistently partakes in all in-house training and is currently working towards her QCF/NVQ Level 5 qualification.
As office manager of Bluebird Care Southend and Rochford Kellie oversees the professional and compassionate workings of both the office and care staff.

I have worked in the care industry since I was 18 years old and I joined Bluebird Care in March 2017 as a care assistant, then progressed to a Senior Care Assistant role and in February 2019, and now I am the office manager. I joined the office team and became the Care Co-ordinator. During my time with Bluebird Care, I have gained my Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care and currently studying level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care management. I am a Trained Trainer in Manual Handling, Risk Assessments, Oral Hygiene, Autism Awareness, and Parkinson’s Awareness, I am also a Mental Health First Aider.
My name is Charlotte, I am a Supervisor at Bluebird Care, I assist our wonderful customers in all aspects of life, from personal care to taking them out for weekly shopping trips and everything in between! I started with Bluebird Care in January 2018 which was my first ever care job! I always thought I could never do care work as I didn't feel the personal care side of things was for me! I'm glad I took the jump, as I've been on some amazing training and the support you receive from the team is outstanding. I feel that since I started working at Bluebird that Care I have found my calling! I love everything about my job (well most of it!) but I really wouldn't be in my job if I didn't enjoy it. The most satisfying part of my job is seeing the customers being as independent as possible within the home and supporting them as required! I have also, just completed my Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care.
I have worked at Bluebird Care since 2023 and really enjoy my role and working with our customers.
It is important to us all that we dedicate our full-time roles to the management of Live in Care for our customers and our Live in Care assistants, to ensure this aspect of our business is managed effectively and to the highest of quality standards.
