She has settled quite well in the residential home and especially as she has someone around her all the time.
Thank you
Special thanks to two staff members in particular who always went the extra mile and made our relative comfortable and happy every day. As a family we also enjoyed their visits.
We would highly recommend Opeika for anyone looking for extra support.
We can't thank you enough.

It was our privilege to provide care and thank you for your recommendation.
Dad needed support following the passing of Mum. Opeika was recommended by a friend. From day one the care given was above and beyond their role. All the carers were experienced and the administration was efficient too. He enjoyed their company and they were very accommodating and friendly. Thank you for all you have done.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. It is heartwarming to hear that your dad found comfort in the care and companionship provided by our team.
I can honestly say that my auntie received an excellent service. The care staff turned up on time and made my auntie feel comfortable and safe. They always kept me updated with any concerns regarding her health.
Thank you for your kind words, it was a pleasure to visit your auntie.
Very happy with services, lovely bunch of staff.
Thank you for your kind words, it's a pleasure to support you.
Young lady very understanding and patient.
They are very reliable despite the ups and downs of my mother’s issues.
The carers that came to look after my mum was so friendly and caring towards her. Making her and my dad drinks and meals when required at calls. They would chat away with both my mum and dad, always keeping him involved and in the loop.
They dealt with all my mum's personal care needs, always keeping my mums dignity in mind. My mum was always happy to see the carers and would give a big beaming smile, especially when they gave her a trifle!
Their compassionate nature was very welcome right up to the end.
Following the carer's recommendation, I brought them a CD player with a few CDs as the carer found that music has a calming effect on them both - they often can't seem to connect or enjoy the morning TV. I put a CD on for them on Friday morning, mostly late 50s and 60s songs. I was amazed at their reactions! They even sang along to some songs, and both looked a lot happier.
I'm very much aware of how difficult it is for carers to do their many tasks and amazed at how very hard they have to work and do so much more than just the care plan. As I've said before, they all deserve a big thank you from me.
I’m very happy with Opieka they attend four times a day all the carers are nice and patient with my dad. I can’t praise them enough. We’re really happy with the service we receive. Nothings too much trouble the carers always make time for my dad. They elevate any worries from me I know they’ve got my dad's best interest at heart. I know my dad is safe and happy.

Sally has also attained a BA (Honours) Degree in Business Computing and also commenced a Masters in Business Administration.
She founded Opieka in 2016, after wanting to provide a local service offering the type of care that she, unfortunately, couldn’t find for her mum. The type of care that she believes should be made available and provided, but very often isn’t. She envisioned a home care provider that could offer tailored, flexible care to people in her local community. Having previously worked as a business analyst for a blue-chip company, her business and computing background has made her very passionate about using technology to improve the lives of people in health and social care. With this in mind, Opieka has gone on to become one of the most advanced care providers utilising paperless systems, geolocation for staff management and content-derived applications to empower her team. More importantly, Opieka company has also since grown to become one of the leading home care providers in the area offering a wide range of services, including personal care, dementia care, companionship, respite care, learning Disability support and respite care.
Sally is a role model for other entrepreneurs who are looking to start their own businesses. She is a reminder that it is possible to make a difference in the world by following your passion.
Hello, I’m Kayleigh! I joined Opieka back in 2019 I would say that the path to my care career was not planned, however, it’s certainly one that I would never walk back on. I’ve met some amazing and unforgettable individuals over the years. My ethos is and always will be to ensure top-quality care is being provided, nothing less.
I have a background in office management and I am very hands-on, my qualifications are largely design-based which means I have a creative approach and an eye for detail.
I am an outdoorsy person and I have recently completed a 26-mile trek in the lake district raising money for the Alzheimer’s society - I’m always on the lookout for a new challenge!
