VHS looked after our dad for 2 years, our only regret being we did not find them sooner. We would recommend them absolutely. Their expert knowledge of the care system/NHS was invaluable. They knew what equipment was available to keep our dad at home & mobile after his stroke thus helping him maintain his independence as much as possible. I always remember our first meeting probably 40 mins max; they just got it straightaway & everything we asked for was put into place seamlessly seven days later. We never looked back. Having endured less positive experiences with previous agencies I believe VHS are the model that should be used for all agencies & I'm exploring ways I can share that information in the future. VHS were professional & efficient but just as important they were caring, positive & happy when they walked through dad's front door. Dad, me & my brother all laughed & cried a bit and VHS looked after us all! There aren't enough words to thank them properly. xxxxx
A person centred service with attention to detail. Small team so perfect for dad who would not do well with too many new faces. Friendly , respectful, safe and caring. I feel so confident that I have started to live my life again after the loss of my mum in April 2024. The communication is superb. The greatest plus for me was to find caters who can use their initiative, are bright and professional but can build trusted relationships. Very experienced and well trained. 100% happy.

The care my aunty receives is second to none. She is happy and contented in her own home and this is down to the care of the team at Victoria Home care solutions and her nephew and myself. They maintain her safety and dignity at all times. The carers know how to make her laugh and fulfill her health and physical needs. They are always happy, pleasant and respectful.
Very professional and caring ,any questions you have are answered quickly . They care very much about elderly people and have shown a lot of understanding and compassion. Very trustworthy, I love the daily updates and I feel like they really know my Mother -in -law.Overall a very good experience and this has made my life less stressful . Our cousin says that Victoria Home Care Solutions are simply wonderful, and we totally agree! The carers who visit are always extremely courteous, kind, considerate, polite, thoughtful, willing to do anything and totally reliable. We were delighted and relieved that they were able to start coming to visit our cousin at very short notice, and that they have adapted the frequency and length of visits as her health has improved. Their use of the Birdie app is brilliant, too, enabling us to see exactly what has happened after every call. We are all very grateful to them!
The staff are amazing and the manager is very hands on too, happy to discuss things snd offers support too. They are very well trained with high standards and a great understanding of older people and their needs. My mum looks forward to their visits. She enjoys the conversation and support given which may be walking with her to the shop or doing a jigsaw. All the staff are patient, tolerant and understanding. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them!
Victoria Home Care Solutions are a very professional company with exceptionally well-trained staff. All the ladies who have attended my wife have been very caring, attentive and willing to go that extra mile to look after my wife. I cannot recommend this small company and management enough.
The carers are very good with Mum providing chats on visits and keeping me informed of any issues. Always ask her what she wants to eat and not just given anything.
Victoria Homecare Solutions provided care for my friend over a long period of time. This review relates to 2021. They provided exceptional care to the service user, supporting him. They liaised with the GP, District Nursing Service and other agencies as my friend's health deteriorated and he moved onto end of life care. They kept him comfortable, cared for him with dignity and kept me informed. They did shopping for him as had more of an idea of his diet towards the end of his life. They treated him with compassion and cared for him until the end of his life. During the Covid pandemic, they followed the guidelines of government and their own including wearing appropriate PPE, testing of staff and we had no issues with Covid and felt safe with them attending to him
I would highly recommend Victoria Homecare Solutions as a care provider to anyone in the local area for homecare support.

Victoria has been employed in the industry for over 15 years, working in various care homes and then changing to home care, Victoria holds an NVQ Level 3, Victoria is up to date with all mandatory Training, Victoria's specialities are Pressure area care, end of life care, medication administration. Victoria is competent in all other areas. Victoria is the Team Leader of a small team of care staff, she is available for staff queries, and concerns and will ensure that all staff receive a full induction and are competent within their role before being able to complete care calls alone. Victoria is friendly, caring and very calm, she can handle any situation including emergencies. Victoria has 10 years of experience with Elderly and Dementia Care.
Jackie has been employed with Victoria Homecare Solutions for 7 years now, she is a very caring and tentative person, always delivering an excellent standard of care to our Service Users. Jackie can communicate effectively with the multi-discipline team. Jackie can induct new staff as she knows the Service Users' likes and dislikes, Jackie has an excellent relationship with the Service Users she visits on a regular basis.
Carina has worked with Victoria Homecare Solutions for 7 years, Carina is a bubbly, caring individual, who can make all of our Service Users laugh or smile, all of the Service Users who Carina visits enjoy her company, Carina delivers an excellent standard of care showing compassion to all. Carina is trained to a high standard and all Mandatory training is current. Carina can deal with any situation she may encounter with a professional attitude.
Chantelle has been in employment with Victoria Homecare for just over 7 years, she is trained to an excellent level and has completed all of her Mandatory training. Chantelle is confident within her role and can deliver care to the optimum level, showing compassion and empathy, she can build on qualities with Service Users and offer the correct care package bespoke to the Service User, Chantelle is passionate about her role which shines through.
Natalie came to us without any experience within the care sector, although you would not believe it, she is a natural at kindness and care, this gave her a great start, Natalie has worked very hard for the past 2 years and has definitely cracked it. Natalie delivers excellent care to the optimum standard. Natalie can communicate well with the Service Users and members of the Multi-discipline team. Natalie is trained in all of the Mandatory training.
Leslie came to us with an abundance of experience in the care sector both as a PA and community care. Leslie studies at University so her routine is flexible. Leslie is a kind and caring person who delivers an excellent standard of care, Leslie has completed her Mandatory training. Leslie has been a member of the team 18 months ago.
Rebecca works with Victoria Homecare on a Bank basis, basically when we need her. Rebecca covers staff leave, Rebecca has many years experience in care, she delivers care to an excellent standard showing compassion and empathy. Rebecca can communicate well with all of our Service Users, Rebecca has a good rapport with the Service Users and their relatives. Rebecca is trained to a level 3 NVQ, Rebecca has completed mandatory training. Rebecca's main employment is within a children's nursery.
Iwona is employed by Victoria Homecare on a part time basis to fit around her children and other responsibilities. Iwona delivers care to an excellent standard showing compassion and empathy, Iwona can communicate effectively with Service Users and their relatives, also members of the multi-discipline team. Iwona has many years of experience in the health and social care sector, and she brings this to the surface. Iwona is a Mum to 3 children. Iwona has a lovely personality and can be comical at times helping everyone to smile.
