My husband had day care for about a year before he went into a nursing home. The day care was appropriate for his condition - dementia - at the time and altered as his condition changed. He was in full time care at BJP Home Support for about 6 weeks as he deteriorated and died on Ap. 22 2024. He was
treated well and with respect and with great care especially at the end.

Happy with the service, however, once my mother's needs increased and needed 2x carers three times a day as she was hoist transport, the company did not have enough staff. Having dementia is very challenging and having to change carers when you had built a trusted relationship with a care team was devastating
and effected mum greatly. I did email some time ago to ask if staffing had increased and still have had no reply, so that is poor service.

Fabulous service. The staff arrived on time. Mum was very happy with the care she received. I would definitely use BJP Home Support again. I have never used the care service before, and I was out of my depth, but BPJ Home Support made the process easy. Thank you.

At the time, I lived alone with close family only 2 miles away. Family had a 1 week holiday abroad so emergency care/cover was needed.

We found the level of care of a high standard from all front line support workers. Patient kind and professional communication with managers and office very good too. We felt dad was receiving best care possible for his circumstances.

My aunt was being cared for at home by BJP for many months, and the level of attention and care has been high throughout, from the management that co-ordinated it all, to the carers themselves. My aunt has now reached a stage in life when she needs more care, and we have had no hesitation in placing

The majority of the carers are very caring and do a good job; they generally attend at the required time and are always willing to talk which is helpful probably to client and carer. One or two carers could look at their own health habits since they deal with vulnerable people. In particular I was very
impressed with the girls who walk around the town trying to stick to a challenging timetable over the winter period in all weathers.

Very caring, polite and helpful. They are always nice to talk to and do all I ask. They are always punctual and always wear PPE and a name badge. There has only been one carer that has not done her job properly so overall a positive experience. It has made my life a lot easier.

This is the first time my parents have used home care support. Initially, they found it strange that some stranger was coming into their home and performing chores. However, over the weeks they quickly accepted the carers and now look forward to their daily visits. In addition to the professional service
they provide, they offer companionship and reassurance which is particularly needed during these difficult times. My father has recommended the care support to a neighbour and they have now taken up with the company. Both myself and my parents are happy with the services provided by BJP.

All staff are courteous and polite. Always treat my mum with kindness and respect. Some carers especially go above and beyond to help my mum. December has been extremely difficult as mum has been under the weather, but her carer does her utmost to cheer mum up. They always have a good giggle. If there

Barry & Joan Parvin established BJP Home Support in 2009, having successfully and continuing to own and manage our sister care homes, Gracelands for 30 years & Belmont View for 10 years. We are confident that we provide care at home and an residential environment which is second to none within the local area.


BJP Home Support has a highly experienced care and management team working alongside staff within all departments, all of which are committed to providing the highest standard of personalised care.


We understand that organising care for a loved one can be daunting, but with our family run, caring team we can put you at ease that your friend or relative will be assisted in their needs with professionalism and empathy. Hannah Parvin – Registered Manager & Director of Care


Hannah has worked in the Health and Social Care sector for over 10 years, starting as a carer.


Hannah joined the family organisation in 2017 as a social worker, to support and develop Gracelands Care Home.


Hannah has 5 years’ experience as a qualified adult social worker within Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council. Within this role, Safeguarding was a big responsibility, submitting alerts regularly as well as carrying out meetings as a qualified safeguarding investigator. Hannah is also a qualified Best Interest Assessor and completes Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLs) reports. These assessments are carried out for people who lack capacity in regards to care, treatment and accommodation.

Our Registered Manager Hayley Wells joined BJP Home Support in March 2023 and has made a great impact on the company.

Jonathan

Jonathan Smithson

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2013

Jonathan started at BJP Home Support in 2013 as a Care Assistant he showed great enthusiasm and growth and progressed to Rota Coordinator where he gained a vast knowledge of the rota system along with the client's needs.


After working on the rota system Jonathan then became heavily involved with some of our clients with learning disabilities gaining experience and after completing his level 2 & 3 NVQ he was able to progress to Care Coordinator.


Jonathan then completed his degree in Business Management and then became Deputy Manager. Jonathan has been able to build a rapport with a large number of clients giving them confidence to come to Jonathan with any issues so that they can be resolved.
