My mum has been a client of Bluebird Care Liverpool for a number of years and we have been happy with the level of care provided. All the carers who come to the house are sensitive to her needs and careful of her dignity. My mum is usually pleased to see her carers and enjoys chatting to them. Over
the last few months my mum has needed a higher level of care and it’s been a challenging time for us as a family. Bluebird have worked closely with us to put together a care plan that meets her more complex needs. They are flexible and responsive to changing circumstances. There is always someone available to talk to and as we don’t live nearby it’s a big relief to know that whoever visits each day will let us know if there is a problem but also take any action needed to make sure my mum- and my dad who is not a client - is safe until I can get there.

From my initial telephone contact to the regular visits the team have been efficient and helpful. They clearly described what they could offer, took on board all of my comments about my mum and have worked hard to dovetail provision. They dealt with any of my anxieties and have moved my mum from someone
who was not enthusiastic about the idea of support to someone who looks forward to the visits.
All of the staff who have visited have been excellent. I was initially keen to have the same person visiting but my mum seems to like the variety and as they are all good people any change of personnel has not been an issue. Any changes are communicated in advance and any matters relating to payment are clear to understand and manage. I have arranged the support in advance of her needing a high level of support in order that she can become familiar with regular visitors. I feel confident that if I were to have any issues or concerns I could raise them and they would be dealt with.

The team at Bluebird Care in Liverpool looked after my grandmother for over 7-years and were never failing in being amazing. As the only family member, and living in a different country, remoting managing and looking after my grandmother was extremely difficult, particularly once the Covid pandemic
came and made travel impossible. Bluebird care consistently went above and beyond my expectations in working with me. Whether dealing with the management team on coordination or service requirements or the wonderful ladies who attended daily, I never had anything but praise for the dedication, kindness and resourcefulness. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for flexible care providers.

Bluebird Care Liverpool provided support to my father who suffers from Alzheimer's Disease. With their assistance, he was able to remain in his own home for much longer than would otherwise have been the case. The management and staff were always attentive to my father's needs and patient with his mood
changes. They catered for his personal and domestic needs as well as administering his medication. They kept me informed of any concerns and provided me with regular reports on his condition. They were, for a long time, a reassuring presence in my father's life.

I would not have coped without the care provided, this is an organisation that I trust and that treated me and my family with respect. There were times when I didn't know what to do, the carers listened and provided support that I needed.

I've used Bluebird Care for my father who has dementia since early 2018. I contacted them as I was concerned that my dad wasn't looking after himself during the day when I was at work. I noticed that as he had a very poor appetite, he was simply forgetting to eat and drink properly. Often I would come
home from work and see that he hadn't eaten all day. With his dementia, tasks like making a cup of tea were becoming a real hassle for him and so he wasn't having much to drink either.
As I think is quite common, my dad was reluctant at first to have people in the house, but he agreed to try it out for a month.
All the girls who came were really friendly and understanding with my dad (he is also pretty deaf). He became really friendly with the ones he saw regularly. With days off etc, I met most of the carers and they were all really nice. They made him breakfast, cups of tea, gave him his medications, and had a good chat with them. He came to really like them a lot.

Bluebird provided care for mum for several years. Initially just visits for meals and personal care then latterly longer sits to keep her company. All the staff are well trained and friendly. The office staff ensure there is continuity of care in a professional manner. Mum enjoyed their company - she
felt safe and well looked after.

We were very happy to have carers from Bluebird Care providing daily assistance, personal care and company for our Mum. All the staff were compassionate, professional and committed. Providing care for our Mum during the recent pandemic was certainly challenging at times however we could not have asked

Bluebird Care have been the carers for my sister for a few years now. We have found the staff, both in the office and the carers who look after our sister to be the best we have had. My sister has complex needs and the carers have a lot of patience and are always respectful to her. The office staff
are second to none with their professionalism and communication in regard to getting in touch with our family if they are concerned about her in any way. I would definitely recommend Bluebird Care without any hesitation.
