Bluebird Care Benfleet, Hadleigh and Canvey Island Reviews (11)
Over all time Bluebird Care Benfleet, Hadleigh and Canvey Island has 11 reviews.
Bluebird has provided me with the help and care I have needed over the past two years due to my restricted mobility and suffering from severe osteoarthritis. I have always found the carers and staff to be very compassionate, caring and respectful of my needs. They provide an excellent service, and I would highly recommend it.
We always strive to provide top-quality service to every guest and are pleased to hear that you find our care assistants very compassionate, caring, and respectful of your needs. Your recommendation means so much to us, and we're so happy to have earned it at Bluebird Care Thurrock & Castle Point!
Bluebird provided care for my elderly mother who had dementia over a period of 5 years. As the dementia got worse and my mother's needs changed Bluebird were always very considerate of the care she required and in particular during the last six months of my mother's life when she became bed-bound and on end-of-life care, they were very understanding, professional and caring to my mother as well as to us as a family and we will always be very grateful for their support.
Thank you so much for rating us! Bluebird Care Thurrock & Castle Point takes pride in providing an excellent customer experience and we're glad to hear your mother had amazing support throughout her care with us.
Bluebird has been providing care for my mother, who is in her late eighties, for the last couple of years. The quality of care has been excellent, has enabled my mother to remain in her own home and as I live 120-miles away, has given me great peace of mind. The carers are always cheerful and considerate. In cases of emergency, the Bluebird staff go above and beyond the call of duty. As a recent example, after a fall from which my mother couldn't get up, carers remained with her all night until an ambulance arrived. Then, when medication failed to arrive from the pharmacy, staff from Bluebird care drove all round the area to find a pharmacy which had stock. They have been very responsive in sending staff to be present for medical reviews at my mother's home. Recently we have had to increase the amount of care, the need for which Bluebird have responded very quickly, including increasing the single carer visit to two carers at less than 24-hours notice.
I don't agree with the new policy of having to give 28 days' notice to cancel care, this does not happen often mostly on bank Holidays, if family visits at short notice I cannot cancel a visit as Mum is still paying for it 7 to 14 days would be more appropriate.
My dad is deaf frail and has Alzheimer's but Bluebird staff are all good with him chatting with him which is not easy. They always do any jobs that need doing in the home as well as cooking his lunch Can’t thank them enough they are also reliable even during Lockdown!
The manager and other staff in the office are always available to contact even after hours, and matters are resolved quickly without fuss, changes we have had to make, big or small have never been too much trouble.
We have used other care companies before Bluebird and the difference in the quality of care and staff make the higher rates very much worth it.
We were let down by another care provider and my husband found Bluebird online. My mum is 86 and no longer able to do even the most basic cleaning. As I was unable to visit for a while during lockdown this was a real concern for me as well as lack of social contact. From the very start, Bluebird were extremely helpful. Mum has been really happy with all the cleaning and enjoys the company too. I would recommend Bluebird to anyone looking for additional care for elderly relatives.
Office administration is responsive to queries - the accounts team is very helpful.
I was impressed that the owner took the time and trouble to recently write personally to thank the carers.
The carers are very kind and help me to dress and moisturise my legs and feet. They help to get items out of the fridge, freezer, dishwasher and help to load and unload the washing machine. Change bedding when necessary, put the rubbish out, which accumulates in the kitchen, out in the garden bins. It is lovely to see them each day, and I couldn't manage without them.
My 93-year-old aunt had a stroke in April 2019 and for her to return to her home, where she wished to live, as her immediate family, we had to find carers to look after her during the day. We have found the carers to monitor our aunts health needs and provide personal care which our aunt is unable to do for herself - due to the onset of dementia. What is very helpful and reassuring is we are able to see the daily notes of the three visits a day. The management and financial teams have also been responsive when dealing with queries.
Bluebird Care has looked after my mum for over two years. All of the carers have been extremely kind and take very good care of her. They are always kind and I know she is well looked after. During the Coronavirus crisis, they have still visited four times a day and I cannot thank them enough.
