Care Herts Limited supports individuals to remain in their own home, happily and empowered. Care Herts was first established in 2013 and currently covers Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Hertford, Welwyn Rural, Potters Bar, Welham Green, Brookmans Park and Essendon areas.

The team provide personal care, dementia care, hospital discharge/enablement , palliative care, an emergency support care service, cognitive stimulation therapy (CST) for mild to moderate dementia including Alzheimer's and a physiotherapy support facility (PSF) service to implement recommended exercise plans.

The team further provide:
Home help, shopping, prescription collection and support with light domestic duties such as washing, cleaning and feeding pets.

Travel/holiday care
Accompaniment and companionship for holidays

Social engagement support, accompaniment to hospital visits, cinema, entertainment events, coffee and lunch outings

Sitting services including overnight sits
Sitting to give a break to primary carer

Respite care to give a break to primary carer and short-term living care

Care Herts provided an excellent service for my uncle. From the outset, every effort was made to get to know my uncle and provide for all his needs. The communication with the office was excellent and staff were very professional and caring.

The carers are very kind and caring to my mum. They come twice a day. In the morning they ensure she has everything she needs for the day and evening they give her her meal etc. On top of personal care they do her laundry and ensure she has clean clothes each day. In January 2020 my late father especially needed care four times a day, also checking on my late mother as well. The carers were fantastic with my dad. They treated him with respect, even though this was hard for my dad as he always wanted to do everything for himself and a very proud man. The respect
my father had for them showed as he even invited them to my granddaughter's christening that year. They even looked after my mum to ensure she had eaten or even to help with the collection of medication in an emergency. Each time we, as family members, met them they were polite and so friendly but also they knew their job, even when arranging the care we met the manager and some of the carers. I would recommend them with no issues, so impressed with how they looked after my parents with the respect. Thank you.

Very happy with the care my mother received following a long stay in hospital. From the start they were very professional and mum's carer was very warm and friendly and helped her recover from a traumatic stay in hospital following surgery. I would certainly recommend Care Herts as everything went very
smoothly right from the start and I know my mum will miss her visits now she has recovered. Should we need further care in the future I will certainly return to them.

I can only praise the team on how they approach and work with my father.
My father is very particular in his care and the team all take the time to ensure his care requirements are met.
Special thanks have to go to the manager. She is superb at her job and goes above and beyond her duty of care.

The manager and her team were excellent. From the minute she visited to assess my father’s needs I felt confident that he would be in good hands. The carers were all kind, considerate and most importantly happy when they visited. If, for unforeseen circumstances, arrangements had to change I was
always contacted to make sure the changes were agreed. Communication is usually the biggest problem for most organisations but not for Care Herts. I will definitely use them again.

My mother is bedridden and has carers 3 times a day. Care Herts Ltd provide regular carers so that mum's care is provided by a small team of competent professional staff. Mum feels safe and secure and is very happy with the care provided for her.
The management are accessible, always helpful. I feel
Care Herts Ltd really put the service users first. We have employed 3 agencies previously and Care Herts Ltd is by far the better provider of care.

Care Herts have been looking after my mother for over five years, in that time I have always found the carers to be kind and compassionate and have treated my mother with dignity and respect. Management has always tried to cover the care needs for my mother including last minute requests. On the rare

The carers are fabulous, caring, kind, consider my brother's needs and are patient. I did request by text and letter that we did not wish to have a certain carer. I was told that they would be sent if no other was available. I was told if this was not acceptable our care package would be reviewed! Management

Their staff are caring, polite and considerate for my father’s daily needs. I am particularly indebted to the management also for their immediate responses to texts/emails and or telephone calls.
