We believe that care could be great, and delivery should only be delivered at the highest standards. Because of this, we have a very good reputation, and we have built this business on our experiences and knowledge.
Because I have a passion for delivering only the highest standards, I went on to complete my qualifications in education and training to ensure that we are able to continue to deliver high standards through our training, so that anybody wanting to work in this sector or even just to gain extra knowledge can do so knowing they are receiving only the best standards of learning. we have a unique knowledge that we are able to implement into the lives of our clients to ensure their quality of life is great.
I have been with We Care Together Southampton for 8 years. I have been very lucky to have the opportunity to progress whilst being here. I have gone from working evenings and weekends to now being a deputy Manager, working Monday- Wednesday in the office. I still go out and work weekends as I do enjoy going out to see our clients. I am looking forward to learning and developing so much more,
I have always believed you are never just the standard stereotype “carer”. Being a carer is being that person who can support someone to live day-to-day in their own home and to live independently. We as a team are always being confronted with the realities of people struggling to overcome an illness or disability, this allows us to appreciate the little things in life we all take for granted.
Being a carer is so many things, you become a friend for someone who has no family and needs a chat in their loneliest times. But I wouldn’t change my job for the world.
Once I get to know each of our clients, we build a relationship, the routine becomes smooth and the communication between us is something that I look forward to.
My work here has always made me feel appreciated and my hard work never goes unnoticed. You can tell the difference in a day’s work when you are working with a professional agency that takes care of their staff and support you, then it is the sort of role that you can turn into a real career.
