Stable Lives

What an amazing, wonderful, caring, compassionate team of individuals Stable Lives are! They really do put the "care" into care-giving. My mother-in-law grew to love her carers and saw them as "family". The team knew all the names of her children/grandchildren/great-grandchildren and shared in her joy when the babies came to visit. When she went into the hospital, they lovingly packed her bag with all her favourite possession and always text us if she was running low on anything or if she seemed "off-colour". Stable Lives gave her dignity and independence - simply angels.

We were concerned about finding a suitable care company for my husband when he was no longer entitled to Sheffield Local Authority care. From the first meeting with one of the company managers, we were reassured. After a year with Stable Lives carers, we have been extremely happy with them. It is not just their skills and knowledge but their personal attitudes to the client and family. They really care. Senior managers engage directly with us and seek feedback on customer satisfaction, both formally and informally. Indeed, we both look forward to the daily visits of the carers. Finally, in my husband's words - "they are very caring and have a very pleasant sense of humour".

When I realised we needed help for Mum at home I was a bit apprehensive because I didn't know what to expect but the care provided to Mum in the last three months has been excellent and the staff that visit are very professional and friendly. They have been very supportive, especially in the beginning when Mum's needs were very challenging. The carers that call are lovely, reliable and helpful and Mum likes them all. They have also been very good at keeping me informed with any problems that may arise. I am very happy with the care provided by Stable Lives and so is Mum.
