I have been using Verve for the last six months to provide care for my son. They have been consistently excellent, responding to my son's varied needs. The clinical care manager, has gone to considerable time and effort to understand my son's needs and circumstance and to tailor the care accordingly. The carers have been punctual, professional and unfailing polite. They have remained calm in some very challenging circumstances and always ensured my son's safety and well-being.

Very happy that a particular staff member keeps checking on me whilst my son is in hospital and keeping up with his every need means a lot. They have always provided enough staff and have filled positions when staff are sick.

We have been using the service from Verve Homecare since late 2018. They have provided an excellent service and we didn't have any issues with the care package. The nurses are well competent on the tracheostomy care along with the ventilator. The care coordinator and nurse lead are always helpful to fulfil our child's care package needs.

They have delivered everything they promised & ran a really controlled and structured handover from the previous care providers. I like the fact that the care plan and clinical notes are available live online. The clinical leads and management team are very responsive whenever any problems arise and have worked hard to try to maintain a stable and balanced team.

Overall the company are terrible at communicating, rotas are not sent to clients and you are left in the dark as to whether anyone may turn up. We have had multiple negative experiences with carers and nurses sleeping on the job, including one who blocked our child's door - night shifts are meant to be waking nights.

We would not recommend this care agency to anyone.

Since we have been with Verve we have had no issues. Everyone has been lovely. I myself have struggled with the fact we need your service but it's definitely been the best thing for my son and I will be forever grateful. His 2 main nurses are fantastic and I feel more settled knowing they are with him at school and also on the journey to school and back home again.

Clinical lead is fantastic and so is the lady I communicate with from Verve.

My husband has been with this agency for four years now, during this time we have had several carers some have been excellent and fully trained on the complexities of my husband's health condition, recently I have noticed that training has improved for the carers. Our clinical lead is amazing, empathetic and a great listener who always actions our requests and provides excellent support to the carers, she works very hard to ensure carers are fully trained on my husband's health needs, updating his care plan when required. Our coordinator is outstanding, we were lucky to have her on our package a few months ago and we can clearly see the difference and importance of having someone who is empathetic, approachable, and friendly with exceptional communication skills all of which she possesses, this was missing previously before she joined us. She has the ability to make us feel assured as well as the carers on the package ensuring covering all shifts with trained staff.

My son receives nighttime care from Verve Homecare. The staff are well trained, well experienced. The clinical lead is also very helpful, very experienced and full of knowledge. The office team and the out-of-hours team are highly professional. The rotas are always done in advance. Any issues are taken very seriously. I have never had to chase them or send reminders for anything. Overall, definitely the best company as they provide highly trained staff and take the client's needs very seriously.

Good continuity of staff. Lovely care coordinator. Good service. We've been using this agency for a few years for our son, the service provided is amazing and the staff members we have go over and beyond for him which is lovely. Communication between me and the coordinator is amazing. Thank you.

So far so good, no complaints. Business as usual, with a new name for the agency but same contact: the homecare coordinator and resource team lead, who has excellent customer service experience and always tries his best to deliver. Well done to him.

This company is a farce and have put my child’s life in serious danger on multiple occasions. The so called nurses are scared to handle tracheostomy patients and mostly they sit down on their phones, distracted by their lives instead of concentrating on the young child in their care. This company should not be allowed to care for children. Today no one has turned up.

My son's carers are great.
My contact is great also.
I do find the flexibility with Verve extremely disappointing and poor.

When a carer calls in sick we lose the hours until they are replaced and we have to accept that but if we need additional hours it’s a flat no.

Excellent care! They provide professional healthcare practices to all carers. Consequently, ensuring that all carers are trained to very high standards. Everything you would want from a healthcare agency for your loved one, care, safety, dignity, experience and professionalism. As a mother of a profoundly disabled young adult, I would highly recommend Emergency Personnel. As the old saying goes - you've tried the rest, now try the best!

The care provided with this agency I'm extremely satisfied with. The carers are very friendly and natural with their line of work. They were never hesitant to be helpful and attending to any needs. I'm so thankful for them and all the people that have helped it all happen. Always feels comfortable to ask for help which is such a big plus to feel easy to ask.
