Fourways Community Care

We have been using Fourways carers to visit Mum and take her out once a week. We have found all the staff to be very professional, caring and compassionate. They have taken the time to really get to know Mum and respond well to how she is feeling on the day. Also, the staff in the office are very efficient and respond quickly to any queries we may have. We are very pleased with the service.

My husband lives at home and has vascular dementia. We have a small team of wonderful carers who are so kind. They are very professional and well trained and always ask after me as well as my husband. The small number of carers really helps with continuity of care and means my husband and I get to know them. I am so grateful for their help. The manager and office staff are also excellent and always ready to help.

Having increased the carer-provision to everyday they are now able to ensure that our mum has sufficient food in her fridge and eats more nutritious food. They have been able to discreetly warm up and serve her a hot meal where before she would refuse this help. Also, they ensure that the kitchen and bathrooms are clean whilst she's having a cup of tea. They also chat with her and provide her with much appreciated company. I am very happy with the care provided and the support from Annie and her team.

I am happy with the service I received from my home care provider, She is pleasant and friendly but also professional. She always wears uniform and looks smart. I do not have any issues with the way she works, which is efficient and effective. We are are to chat about local interests and events while she is working. She respects my home and lifestyle. I also find the ladies in the office are helpful if I need to contact them with a query,

All staff sent were excellent care providers at a time when we really needed the assistance. They regularly went over and above what was asked with their personal attention and attention to detail. They communicated all that went on in a timely and helpful manner and helped make my mother's last month really comfortable in her own home.

The Fourways carers give us incredible peace of mind that our loved one is receiving the very best support that we could hope for. Fourways provided care for my father while he was at home recovering from a fall and lots of assistance to my mother who was looking after him. The office are great on communication, always happy to help and went out of their way to make sure that Dad received the care he needed. All the carers are kind, professional, polite and helpful. I found the staff so good when they cared for my husband that when I needed help I called you, need help in the morning as I get exhausted after I wash and dress and one of your ladies comes to my aid They make my breakfast make my bed empty the dishwasher and leave my kitchen clean and tidy they are all so pleasant and kind, I enjoy their company,They take an interest in my family and me personally,,l highly recommend you when asked about carers,, always come on time,

I did engage carers for my late husband some time ago, but the service Fourways provides for people in their own homes is in a completely different league: it is second to none and I would recommend it to anyone.

The Fourways team have been amazing, my father usually has care each day so that he can continue to live at home with my elderly mother.The dignity and standard of care is first class, having worked myself at a senior level within the NHS I am fully aware of standards, dignity and good leadership which is reflected in this team and I was aware at how much my very proud elderly father valued their assistance. However on Christmas morning my mother fell and was taken into hospital, I had to step in and could not have coped without this wonderful group of ladies. To see the interaction, kindness, professionalism was heart warming particularly in this difficult situation. So my deepest gratitude to all the team. Thank you .

Fourways have been looking after my aunt at home for a year or so but in December she had a number of falls and the team were wonderful in dealing with her, dealing with the paramedics, staying with her throughout, and keeping me informed (I live a very long way away). I am very grateful.
