The Fourways carers give us incredible peace of mind that our loved one is receiving the very best support that we could hope for. The communication is excellent, the personalised attention to detail, the respect and kindness they show is reflected in the close relationship the carers have built with our loved one. Their visits are keenly awaited and a total life line. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you
Thank you so much for our wonderful review, we are all so pleased you are happy with our service.
Fourways provided care for my father while he was at home recovering from a fall and lots of assistance to my mother who was looking after him. The office are great on communication, always happy to help and went out of their way to make sure that Dad received the care he needed. All the carers are kind, professional, polite and helpful. I'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Fourways to anyone who needs care in the home. Thank you so much Fourways for everything you did for us.
Thank you for leaving us a wonderful review, we are very pleased you are happy with our service.
I am happy with the service provided by Fourways, both the ladies who visit me in my home and also those who work in the office and deal with questions and queries. The ladies work professionally and I am grateful for their help and support, which make my life easier and more comfortable.
Thank you very much for our review, we are pleased you are happy with our service to you.
friendly staff who meet all requested needs of my dad. Sometimes care needs , but equally company, cooking a simple meal or shopping. Several times, when the need has arisen the staff have alerted their manager or called the hospice for additional medical support.
Dad has visits twice a day and I can check the app after each visit to see how he is, and what he's been up to allowing me to monitor his health from afar and visit accordingly.
Several times if I have had worries I have asked for additional welfare checks which have been accommodated without issues.
I can't thank the team enough for the care they give dad and the peace of mind they give me.
Thank you so much for our wonderful review and taking the time to complete it!
The communication with Fourways was set up by our son while I was in hospital. The daily one hour day arrangement allowed my wife to live at home and not in a residential home.

The management team is easy to reach, approachable, and helpful.
The carers themselves are both friendly and professional. As well as doing the required tasks, they show initiative, offering additional support whenever time allows. They have also suggested other ways they can help - from assistance with shopping or medical/dental appointments to thoughtful outings - all of which have been greatly appreciated.
I would recommend them without hesitation.

Annie and the team are wonderful, always trying their best to cover Mum for, both expected and unexpected appointments.

Thank you very much for our wonderful review, thank you for taking the time to complete it for us!
I did engage carers for my late husband some time ago, but the service Fourways provides for people in their own homes is in a completely different league: it is second to none and I would recommend it to anyone.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review we really appreciate your kind words!
The Carer, Karla, takes Mum out for coffee and into the local park. My Mum gets a lot of enjoyment from this and Karla really understands my Mum. My Mum always talks fondly of her and looks forward to her outings.
Thank you for our wonderful review, we are so pleased you are happy with our service.
The Fourways team have been amazing, my father usually has care each day so that he can continue to live at home with my elderly mother. The dignity and standard of care is first class, having worked myself at a senior level within the NHS I am fully aware of standards, dignity and good leadership which is reflected in this team and I was aware at how much my very proud elderly father valued their assistance. However on Christmas morning my mother fell and was taken into hospital, I had to step in and could not have coped without this wonderful group of ladies. To see the interaction, kindness, professionalism was heart warming particularly in this difficult situation. So my deepest gratitude to all the team. Thank you .
Thank you so much for our beautiful review, such kind words, we really appreciate your comments!

Fourways have been looking after my aunt at home for a year or so but in December she had a number of falls and the team were wonderful in dealing with her, dealing with the paramedics, staying with her throughout, and keeping me informed (I live a very long way away). I am very grateful.
Thank you for your wonderful review, we enjoyed looking after your aunt!
I found the whole team, without exception, to be very professional, helpful, considerate and understanding of the issues within the household.
I was always kept informed of developments and any issues developing that needed my attention. I felt that the team went above and beyond when working with my mother. In doing so, my mother had a better time and started to enjoy things she hadnt been able to do for years.
From a family perspective, it meant I could relax knowing they were in good hands.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We have enjoyed looking after both of your parents!
The team have always been very good and reliable when caring for my Uncle. Passing information on when needed. I live around 200 away from my Uncle. When my Uncle had not returned home, they were on the phone straight away so that I could chase round to find him. Also putting an putting a message to all their employees to keep an eye out for him. Thank you for your review of our service , we are very pleased you are happy!
Very versatile to what job's they undertake. Main reason for help is give me a rest, allow me to have a little time to myself and not to worry. It also allows Yvonne to see and talk to other people who are understanding.
Thank you very much that is great to hear, we are very pleased you are happy !
I have had no difficulty in contacting the office staff if adjustments have had to be made to the scheduled times/dates of the care provided, and the outcomes have invariably been satisfactory.
I would certainly recommend Fourways to other potential clients.

Karla has been with Fourways since 2017. She has worked in local care settings and has a good understanding of clients' needs. She visits our clients at their home for an informal chat about their requirements, as well as completing the initial assessment and care plan, plus the ongoing reviews of our clients. As one of our on-call contacts, she provides assistance and support to our carers and clients outside of our office hours.
I was born in Burnley, Lancashire. I left school in 1978 and started working at Grenfell, a clothing factory making raincoats. I loved sewing and still do; however, I gave up work to start a family. Later in life, I decided I would like to work in the care sector.
I got a job in a nursing home in Burnley. I loved it, working the night duties, I stayed until my husband and I decided to move to Devon in 1997. I had various jobs in nursing and residential homes, and also worked with young adults with physical and sensory disabilities. I enjoyed that role as it was so rewarding. I started domiciliary care in 2000 and really enjoyed assisting clients in their own homes to maintain their independence. I used to do on - call duties at weekends and did that for three years. I left that role in 2010 as I moved house and didn’t want to travel a distance to work. I joined Fourways Community Care later in 2010 and have worked for them for 15 years. I have, however, moved house again, so I have a distance to drive, but I won’t be changing my job again as I am happy at Fourways and am proud to say I’m a member of a great team. I don’t really have any goals as I am happy with what I have achieved in my 30 years as a carer.
I've been working in the care sector for the majority of my professional life, throughout various settings from the NHS, to EMI units, care homes and the community.
For the last 8 + years, I've been with Fourways Community Care as a community support worker, which I absolutely love for many reasons, including that the team here is known as 'The Little Blue Army '
Working in the community, caring for those who wish to remain in their homes, is personally such a rewarding role. Retaining independence is important to all of our clients, and I feel passionate about supporting them in this with the kindness, dignity and respect I would give my own family.
To me, family is precious. I consider it a true privilege to be in the position to care for someone else's loved one.
Care work is what I naturally gravitate towards. Over the years, I've had opportunities to volunteer, and I've found myself aiding the community. From running a creche in HM Exeter Prison to working with the Coroners' court support service team.
My training is up to date and ongoing.
A little about me, I'm married with 4 adult children, 8 wonderful grandchildren, I'm an avid reader, I love to cook while listening to music, enjoy walks in our beautiful countryside, and like travelling around the world in between.
My initials are HRH, which my clients often find amusing! I tell them it makes my luggage look good....
