When it became clear that our good friend and neighbour, who was in her mid 90s, needed some help in the mornings, Kind Hearts was recommended to us as a very good local provider of care for the elderly. They provided care from September 2019 to July 2020 when our friend was taken into hospital. We would rate the level of care to be excellent. The team of carers were friendly and supportive. Our friend said how much she enjoyed chatting to them as much as the actual help they provided. A very good feature of the service was a free mobile phone app that we could view each day to see the comments of the carer for that day. We found this particularly helpful and reassuring. Whenever we phoned the office there was always a prompt and friendly response. We are very happy to highly recommend Kind Hearts to those needing care in their own homes.

We found Kind Heart Care and Support have provided excellent support to my mother following a diagnosis of dementia.
Our support included several visits during the day to help Mum with ‘personal care’, providing ‘companionship’ and supportive activities including ‘going for a walk’. The Kind Hearts team helped with household tasks which was very welcome. We found all the team, both carers and the admin team to be very professional and any concerns were dealt with promptly and to our satisfaction. We found the “Birdie” communication system to be very effective in keeping us informed about every visit. Similarly, communication between ourselves and the head office was excellent and where action was necessary we received best advice based on their extensive experience to plan the way forward.

I am very grateful to all who helped and assisted my mum during the 18 months in which Kind Hearts cared for my mum and would have no hesitation in recommending their service.

Kind Hearts have been delivering care and support to my mum following a stroke, since February 2020. Unfortunately, Mum has recently had to go into a care home due to becoming more confused and proving to be putting herself at risk. If it hadn’t have been for Kind Hearts Mum would not have been able to remain in her own home for as long as she did.

I would like to thank everyone at Kind Hearts for the excellent care and support given to my mum and us as a family, you were always able to accommodate us when extra care and support was needed. Thank you.

Kind Hearts have been helping us to care for our mum since December 2016. Unfortunately, that relationship has just come to an end this month as following another fall and a stay in hospital she has now moved into residential care. Mom received two calls a day from Kind Hearts, providing personal care, plus an extra hour one day each week for home help support. All the members of the care team are extremely professional and very kind and we always had complete confidence in everyone who came. Mom became very fond of the ladies who were her most regular carers and she was always happy to ring up the office herself and chat if she had any queries. Although we are around to see Mom most days, we were reassured and given peace of mind to know that she was well cared for early in the mornings and again in the evenings when we were not with her and either the carers or the office ladies would always get in touch with us if they had any concerns. Thank you to everyone.

Kind Hearts have provided excellent care for my parents over the last few months. They have been reliable, punctual, polite and caring. Any queries have been quickly and efficiently dealt with. The ladies who have looked after my parents have been genuinely caring and treated Mom and Dad with respect. It is only due to a significant change in circumstances that they are no longer involved in their care. I would definitely recommend them and I am happy to answer any questions.

We are very happy with the service provided by Kind Hearts. They were flexible as to how much time my father needed so that his care wasn't rushed. He was frequently uncooperative but they were respectful of his wishes and treated him with kindness and respect. They were very professional in keeping a record of his care. They kept us informed of problems as they arose and called in other professionals when necessary. He had three care visits a day, so obviously it wouldn't have been possible to have the same person for every visit but there was a main carer, who covered most of the visits. They did their utmost to allow him to continue living in his own home for as long as possible. When that was no longer feasible, they continued to care for him until we had found a suitable care home.

I would thoroughly recommend Kind Hearts as a Company, and as people who looked after my relative with great dignity, respect, and care.

All the staff from the daily carers, to the staff in the office, were thoroughly professional, and he always looked forward to his daily calls, and the happy smiling faces that always greeted him. I know that without their help he would not have been able to continue to stay in his home for as long as he did, so for this I am truly grateful, and I intend to stay in touch with them, to keep them up to date with regards to my uncle's health.

I feel that besides the service that they gave to my uncle, that they also helped me greatly during difficult times, and there was always someone available for me to speak to if I felt the need.

Once again I would like to thank everyone at Kind Hearts, there are too many to mention in person, but they know who they are. I will never forget the help, and kindness shown to my uncle, and us the family.

Kind Hearts have been caring for my uncle for the past 3 months, during this time the standard of care has been excellent with great attention to detail and exceptional levels of communication.

In this industry it's hard to find good care companies, I believe KIND HEARTS set the benchmark.

My sister and I engaged Kind Hearts for a year, from October 2016, to provide support to our parents, who both have dementia. At that time, our father was only receiving morning visits provided through the local authority. As time went on, Kind Hearts proved to be head and shoulders above that morning agency!

The carers were patient, kind, warm and friendly. When we had to switch to live-in care, our parents commented that it was a shame to lose such 'good people'. One carer, in particular, was amazing - always alert to new problems and proactive in coming up with solutions. If she had time spare, she would also always look for a constructive task to occupy herself.

The back office was always responsive to, and patient about, our endless emails. On the very odd occasion that problems arose, these were taken seriously and dealt with promptly. The owners of Kind Hearts clearly have a passion for providing a service above and beyond others and strive to maintain this at all times.

All the carers we have used have been caring in all respects. They are all polite and show a real interest in my partner and nothing appears to be too much trouble. They help me manage the house such as ironing and washing clothes and are always very tidy. They will prepare meals for my partner and take her out in the car for a trip to the shops or a cafe for a snack.
I find them very reliable and over the last nine months have always arrived at the time planned.

The head office appears to be well managed and a representative is always available whatever the time of day.

We have been using Kind Hearts for a number of months now for our son, and I have to say we are so pleased with the service we have had for him. We started with 4 calls daily and each time the carer was polite and the job done to a high standard, and a good rapport was made with the ones who came on a regular basis. We have over the months reduced our time and are still over the moon with the exceptional service provided.
