The Care Collection has provided a reliable and reassuring network of support to my mum in recent months. Their carers are conscientious, well-trained and punctual and most importantly, have formed a bond with my mum, which has been hugely appreciated. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for reliable, hourly care at a reasonable price.
We are very happy with the service provided by Care Collection for my sister. Thank goodness they take the pressure off us. The staff are always smiling and my sister loves them. They seem well trained.
The lady from The Care Collection was very polite and introduced herself before the review began. She explained her position within the care company and her objectives. Discussed care and if anything else was required. My mother-in-law is happy with most things except when visit times are changed. She has noted this and will report back to the office. But overall, my mother-in-law and I are happy with the service.
Good communication with the office team and a friendly and professional approach. The carers are kind, caring and respectful of our wishes. We are very happy with the service so far. I would highly recommend this company.
We started using the service earlier this year for a family member. We are really pleased with the quality of the care team and their training and experience. The office staff are also really good and very helpful. It's a thumbs up from us!
I have used Care Collection Wakefield for my elderly mother, for care four times per week, after using their Huddersfield office for my daughter for over 2 years, who sadly has severe mobility issues. We enjoyed the same brilliant standards of compassion and care and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. It is reassuring to have the Care Collection looking after two family members, knowing they will be safe in their more than capable hands. I truly cannot recommend them enough!
Current Carer on package Excellent.
1. Staff- apart from current carer - poor. 2. Care/support- from The Care Collection - 1 star. Care/Support - direct from the current carer - 5 star
= Overall 3 3. Management - we're unclear what The Care Collection do to charge service user what they do per hour - more of a payroll company/introducer agency. 4. Treated with dignity - from The Care Collection - 1 star.
Treated with dignity - direct from the current carer - 5 star =Overall 3. 5. Value for money - most interested in getting more hours of a package than ensuring carers are properly trained, prepared, and supported in the role of providing care- and ensuring proper paperwork is in place.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. We take all feedback seriously. Our aim is to provide the best possible care and we are proud of the reviews and feedback received. However, we are deeply saddened that your specific experience has not met those high standards (although we are...
We had a carer that wasn't quite suited to our needs. The communication is not always on point, there have been errors and wrong times or dates changed or cancelled, different to our request. Times changed without letting us know and finding out it had moved to later times. They were all addressed but would have been more of an excellent service, had it not happened in the first place.
Thank you for your review. We are glad we resolved the teething issues you experienced as we endeavour to continue to provide you with an excellent service.
Helpful, lovely staff and a well-organised company.
Have employed staff to fit the client's needs and to allow them to enjoy day-to-day living/activities.
Reliable service, sending people with the right criteria and training that has been asked for. We are messaged a few days before to inform us of the carer that will be coming and the times. So far we are very pleased.
The Care Collection has been involved with the care of my father for around 15 months, and during this time his needs have changed considerably. The care he has received has always met his needs and whenever we have needed to make any changes or request extra visits, they have always managed to accommodate them. We have had experience with other care companies and feel that The Care Collection are a very professional and caring organisation and would be happy to recommend them to others.
We are happy with the care that The Care Collection provide for our mum. Nothing is too much bother and all the staff from carers to office staff are very approachable. We had a couple of minor issues and these have been dealt with promptly and with understanding. We would recommend The Care Collection.
We have the carers for one hour each morning and one hour each evening - now we have a double up in the evenings which was arranged very quickly - very pleasing. The carers really care about the client - his needs come first. They give helpful suggestions too. We are always happy to see them and they leave us pleased and cheerful. We are extremely satisfied indeed with Care Collection. The three main carers are outstanding and patient and they are always on time. Communications with the office are very good. Thank you to them.
The various carers from The Care Collection were excellent. They were friendly, punctual, efficient, professional in their approach and always caring and concerned with our Mum's welfare. No complaints whatsoever.
I would highly recommend The Care Collection to anyone looking for home care. The carers always arrived on time, treat my mother with great respect, and carried out any requests with pleasure. The same two carers attended consistently, and they became her friends. Any questions I directed to the office were dealt with courteously and acted upon as soon as possible.
The carers are very professional, friendly and efficient. They help my mum in many ways and nothing is too much trouble for them. Mum has only been having carers in her home for a month now, but I can already see a marked improvement in her health, appearance and mental state, and she's so much happier now.
Although this company isn't the cheapest it is worth every penny. We changed mum's care company to care collection recently and can't praise the care collection staff highly enough. The management are excellent and the way all new carers shadow existing ones prior to coming on their own is very reassuring. Mum is so much more relaxed and happier in herself since being with the care collection. The staff can't do enough for her and she is never rushed which is important as she has poor mobility due to Parkinson's. Our only regret is that we didn't change sooner. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone.
The management and carers have been excellent over the 2 year period they cared for my mum. They are adaptable and considerate - regular reviews and an App help keep the family informed. The carers befriended mum and took her out to local cafes which we are sure she appreciated. Cleaning and washing also done during visits which was a great help. Would recommend to others.
Carers are always pleasant and helpful to Dad. All his care needs are met and they always do extra housework tasks. The time specified is always met, sometimes even a little early. Which doesn't bother Dad as he's an early riser.
The service provided by the Care Collection has been excellent from the outset. The staff and management have been extremely prompt and efficient in offering both advice and assistance. The use of the app has also provided a great way to receive daily updates on the care provided, given I live abroad.

Meet the Team (5)
I am now embarking on my 3rd decade in Health and Social Care. I have climbed the professional ladder and have thoroughly enjoyed the exercise. Now at the top, and has earned the position of “influencer”, I want to share my success with my Clients and their families and support them by offering the best possible home care service available.
I have worked across the whole of the care sector with people of all ages and a whole spectrum of conditions including elderly care, Dementia, physical disabilities, brain injuries, mental health, neurological conditions, Learning Disabilities and palliative care.
I have acted as an advocate for my Clients and pioneered for their individual causes. I am incredibly passionate about ensuring people get the support they deserve and always strive to deliver outstanding levels of customer service. My professional training has given me the knowledge and skills to support my caring and empathetic nature as well as my desire to ensure people to lead fulfilling and independent lives.
However, I have often felt disappointed and let down by other care providers or professionals working alongside me. I have at times been demoralised and disheartened by poor practice, misplaced morals and substandard levels of care and customer service. I think the time has come for positive change!
I have therefore created The Care Collection, a stylish and unique, carefully crafted collection of home care services accessible to all.
I have over 12 years’ experience in Health and Social Care. Whilst studying for my degree I worked as a care worker in the community. After graduating I worked as a Field Care Supervisor and then spent 5 years as Registered Manager of a private home care provider overseeing the running of the entire service and staff team.
I joined The Care Collection in January 2018 and became Registered Manager in 2020. My role includes monitoring our service on a regular basis, ensuring it runs safely and effectively for our clients and complies with, and where possible exceeds, industry legislation. I also ensure that the care team receive appropriate training and any extra support and guidance they may need to provide excellent care resulting in a service that can be relied upon and known for its high standards.
I am looking forward to The Care Collection growing and flourishing with the innovative and creative team we have in place and changing people’s perceptions of care. We aim to exceed our clients’ expectations by developing a holistic, person-centered approach to care delivery, focused on promoting independence for everyone.
I assist with carer and client compliance, support new staff and ensure the service continues to run safely and to the highest possible standards.
I started working professionally in care in 2016, after caring for my dad, who was diagnosed with Progressive Multiple Sclerosis in 2000. I joined The Care Collection in January 2019, originally as a Carer, before being promoted to my current role of Compliance Coordinator in May 2022.
I oversee carer and client compliance, support new staff and ensure the service continues to run safely and to the highest possible standards. I am currently completing my Level 3 in Health and Social Care, which has been funded by the company. I am also newly qualified as the lead Autism and Learning Disability trainer.
My background is in education recruitment, where I spent over a decade building strong relationships and guiding candidates into roles where they could really make a difference. I bring that same people-focused approach to my work here and enjoy being part of a team that’s committed to providing outstanding care at home.
