As well as carrying out the personal care duties, the staff also have excellent communication skills and often start two-way conversations to the enjoyment of the client. The appointments allow me a break from my own attendance.

The carer was always polite and friendly and introduced herself. Occasionally, she was a bit late, but someone would ring with an apology and explanation. During her allotted time she completed all tasks with consideration to my friend's needs and choices. Tasks included making lunch, administering medications and a little light cleaning. Often, she would have some time left to sit and talk to us. Conversations were generally about families, past times and television programmes. These were all subjects that my friend could participate in, and enjoyed. At the end of the visit, the carer would document what she had done. My friend always looked forward to the carer calling.

We use this company to assist us to care for our young daughter who has a physical disability. We like all the carers we have met and feel that their attitudes and the company ethos really fit with our own. The office contact has been reliable and the management of our needs prioritised. I would highly recommend this company.

The lady from The Care Collection was very polite and introduced herself before the review began. She explained her position within the care company and her objectives. Discussed care and if anything else was required. My mother-in-law is happy with most things except when visit times are changed. She has noted this and will report back to the office. But overall, my mother-in-law and I are happy with the service.

I have used Care Collection Wakefield for my elderly mother, for care four times per week, after using their Huddersfield office for my daughter for over 2 years, who sadly has severe mobility issues. We enjoyed the same brilliant standards of compassion and care and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. It is reassuring to have the Care Collection looking after two family members, knowing they will be safe in their more than capable hands. I truly cannot recommend them enough!

We had a carer that wasn't quite suited to our needs. The communication is not always on point, there have been errors and wrong times or dates changed or cancelled, different to our request. Times changed without letting us know and finding out it had moved to later times. They were all addressed but would have been more of an excellent service, had it not happened in the first place.

Have employed staff to fit the client's needs and to allow them to enjoy day-to-day living/activities.

Reliable service, sending people with the right criteria and training that has been asked for. We are messaged a few days before to inform us of the carer that will be coming and the times. So far we are very pleased.

The Care Collection has been involved with the care of my father for around 15 months, and during this time his needs have changed considerably. The care he has received has always met his needs and whenever we have needed to make any changes or request extra visits, they have always managed to accommodate them. We have the carers for one hour each morning and one hour each evening - now we have a double up in the evenings which was arranged very quickly - very pleasing. The carers really care about the client - his needs come first. They give helpful suggestions too. We are always happy to see them and they leave us pleased and cheerful. We are extremely satisfied indeed with Care Collection. The three main carers are outstanding and patient and they are always on time. Communications with the office are very good. The various carers from The Care Collection were excellent. They were friendly, punctual, efficient, professional in their approach and always caring and concerned with our Mum's welfare. No complaints whatsoever.

I would highly recommend The Care Collection to anyone looking for home care. The carers always arrived on time, treat my mother with great respect, and carried out any requests with pleasure. The same two carers attended consistently, and they became her friends. Any questions I directed to the office were dealt with courteously and acted upon as soon as possible.

The carers are very professional, friendly and efficient. They help my mum in many ways and nothing is too much trouble for them. Mum has only been having carers in her home for a month now, but I can already see a marked improvement in her health, appearance and mental state, and she's so much happier now.

Although this company isn't the cheapest it is worth every penny. We changed mum's care company to care collection recently and can't praise the care collection staff highly enough. The management are excellent and the way all new carers shadow existing ones prior to coming on their own is very reassuring. Mum is so much more relaxed and happier in herself since being with the care collection. The staff can't do enough for her and she is never rushed which is important as she has poor mobility due to Parkinson's. Our only regret is that we didn't change sooner. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone.
