When my father came out of hospital he required carers and we were introduced to Norwyn. I can't believe how lucky we were. The carers were always so cheerful, warm and friendly, we enjoyed their visits. They were very professional caring for dad and went the extra mile when needed. Thank you Norwyn.

We are very happy with the service we recieve morning and evening 7 days a week. All the Carer are very good with Mother, she loves singing and many of them sing to her! and make her laugh most of the time, they are also patient and understanding if she has a bad day. We are updated if there is the odd delay, which is very helpful too.

Thank you.

We have been using this service for nearly a year. All of the carers we have had have been kind and caring. They are all very reliable and patient with my husband who is suffering with dementia. Everyone we have had contact with has been very helpful - we had to increase our care load but this wasn't a problem and put into place quickly. Thank you very much.

For a first time user Mum had reservations but all the carers put her at ease. They have all been very cheerful and friendly nothing has been to much trouble. On the occasions I hve met them they have been very friendly and professional. I find it very helpful that they remind me when supplies get low and what to get as I am not used to this type of shopping.

All of the care staff that have been to are for him have been smart and tidy and very friendly and always have a laugh and joke with him, which he enjoys and makes him feel better. They are very careful and respectful of his privacy, which we appreciate very much. They always leave him comfortable in bed with a smile on his face. Thank you Norwyn Community Services.

Despite telling the main office that the care package had changed norwyn still kept sending a carer to my aunt who kept telling her to go away. Carers turning up early and late with no consistency even calling to a different address. Final straw today the 20th June 25 was the carer was asked to leave but refused to leave.

No management available to talk to. Shocking.

Reply from Norwyn Community Services, Director at Norwyn Community Services

We sincerely apologise for this situation. Our Carers will always respect instructions to leave when requested. When care is no longer needed our service usually ends but sometimes care cannot be ended without authorisation from the local authority.

Regrettably, my mother has not had a good experience overall with the care provided. The main issue has always been timekeeping - regularly several hours late, which for a bedridden diabetic is not acceptable. Staff pouring faecal waste in the kitchen sink and placing yellow bags outside but not in the yellow bin is unacceptable. Laughing staff when inappropriate. A concerned email was sent over 3 working days ago, but no acknowledgement has been received.

We are leaving this agency.

Thank you for the feedback. There were theething problems as this was a new client. Timing was an issue to start with but this improved with carers sticking to leeway times incase of delays. We investigated the issue, carers did not pour any faecal water down the sink and verbal feedback given to...

Staff attended my father's home today where his wife is bedridden and when my father asked them if he should get the hoist to help lift her back into bed they refused and said he should call an ambulance. Frustrated by their lack of concern and compassion he ask them to leave. They found this funny and laughing on the way out left the house. We recognise their staff do not have much time and probably get paid minimum wage. But why be in a job like this if you have no compassion and are happy to leave two senior people in a condition you would not leave an animal in.

Mum needed the help of carers during the last months of her life. Norwyn provided this for her with dignity and kindness. Mum was a quiet and gentle lady and was always treated with respect and gentleness by the friendly staff who cared for her. The office staff were helpful and approachable. They were flexible when it came to making any changes with our arrangments so that we always felt that Mum's needs were treated as their priority. I would definitely recommend Norwyn.

I needed urgent care the same day for my elderly mother and Norwyn were able to respond immediately. They came and did an assessment within a few hours and we managed to get an overnight carer for that night and then for the following week. They were excellent, always on time and looked after my mum's needs.
