Habitat Care Ltd provides personalised home care for adults who wish to remain independent and supported in their own homes. Care is designed around each individual, recognising that no two people, routines, or needs are the same.

Support is delivered by carefully selected and well-trained care professionals, with an emphasis on consistency and trust. Wherever possible, clients are supported by familiar carers, helping to build meaningful relationships and a sense of reassurance over time. Services range from companionship and daily living support to personal care, dementia care, and live-in care.

Habitat Care takes a flexible and person-centred approach. Care plans are created in collaboration with clients and their families and are regularly reviewed to ensure they continue to reflect changing needs and preferences. Support is intended to fit naturally into everyday life, allowing people to maintain their routines, independence, and dignity.

Clear communication and reliability are central to the service. Families are kept informed, and care is delivered with professionalism, kindness, and respect.

Job Title: Directors Joined: 2009

Habitat Care was founded in 2009 by Sergio and Yan Mesen, a husband and wife team with a simple vision to provide genuine, person-centred care delivered by people who truly care.

From small, family-run beginnings, Habitat Care has grown into a trusted professional care provider across Bristol and North Somerset, guided by the same values of kindness, respect, and the belief that great care begins with lovely people.

Hi, I'm Oana Andreea, and I've been part of the Habitat Care team since September 2025. With over 9 years of experience working in care—starting in various support roles and moving into more specialised domiciliary care positions—I've truly found my calling in helping people feel safe, respected, and valued in their own homes. What I enjoy most about my role is building genuine connections with the people I support; those small moments of shared laughter, a comforting chat over tea, or simply knowing I've made someone's day a little brighter always mean the world to me.

Outside of work, I'm a big lover of the outdoors—I enjoy long walks with my daughter Sophia, trying out new baking recipes (Romanian sweets are my speciality!), and spending quality time with family and friends. People often say I have an endless supply of energy and positivity, which I try to bring into every shift!

Job Title: Caregiver Joined: 2025

I joined Habitat Care in October 2025 and have settled in really well. I work with a great team and enjoy looking after my clients. I help them to maintain their own choices, keep their dignity and quality of life in their own home. I have over 20 years of experience working in home care, and I am a qualified humanistic counsellor. I am a kind, trustworthy and compassionate person with a down-to-earth, bubbly personality. I have a young family and enjoy walking with our dog, reading and acrylic painting.

Job Title: Caregiver Joined: 2017

I joined the team in June 2017, so it will be 9 years this year.

My interests include my family, travel, socialising and learning new skills. I've always enjoyed sport, playing netball at league level, exercise classes, my favourite being Zumba, and dancing, which I qualified as a ballroom and Latin American teacher.
Growing up, I was lucky enough to spend time with great-grandparents and grandparents, and loved to listen to many of their life stories.

My role as a carer is very rewarding. I enjoy spending time listening and helping the people who we support. Each day is different, and it's an absolute pleasure being able to part of their life.
