Bluebird have provided and continue to provide excellent care for my mother. It is reassuring for my mother to know that one of the lovely carers will be in every morning to help her start her day. Everyone is thoughtful and caring, and go above and beyond to make sure my mother is ok.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful feedback. We are delighted to hear that your mother is happy with the care she is receiving and that our team has been able to provide reassurance and support each morning.
Our carers take great pride in delivering compassionate, high quality care,...
Mum has had a really good experience with Bluebird Ashford. Carers are all kind and helpful and some are truly outstanding - really making an effort to chat and get to know Mum and Dad, noticing possible issues & putting them right, & being unflappable and practical when problems crop up. Office staff are friendly and responsive, and also do some "hands on" care so they know Mum and her needs first hand.
It is wonderful to know that our carers have been kind, attentive, and supportive, and that some have gone the extra mile...
A notification in advance of the regular time and day to expect my cleaner would be helpful.
Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you highlighting this and understand how helpful it can be to receive a reminder before your cleaner's scheduled visit. If you have access to our rostering app, you will be able to see the scheduled visit and timing there. If you do not currently have...

I would like to say that changing our care to Ashford Bluebird was the best thing. The carers are pleasant and pro active in my uncles care. I have seen a difference in him. His meals are done and kitchen neat and tidy.he really enjoyed the Christmas party , that the ladies came and collected him from home. This has restored my faith in care. Well done ladies

From the moment we onboarded with them, their service has been outstanding. Their use of the app, along with their exceptional punctuality and professionalism, has given us complete confidence.
After more than five years of caring for my mum at home, I finally feel like I have a genuine partner providing us both with high-quality care and peace of mind. I only wish we had commissioned them sooner!
A huge thank you to the care manager, marketing associate, customer supervisor and the entire team - you are truly God-sent angels.

Thoughtful of our needs. Prompt and always contact me if the carer is running late, offer advice and identify potential benefits.
We were let down abysmally by our previous care company. Bluebird stepped in without hesitation. We the family are completely happy with the care our family member receives from the carers to the support teams in the office. Whatever issues arise with her care or general wellbeing and comfort it is always dealt with professionally, with compassion and total understanding of her needs. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We love caring for your relative and we are so pleased you are happy with the care we provide.
Bluebird has been a godsend to my elderly uncle during the pandemic and the lockdown, and to us. When we haven’t been able to visit we have arranged extra care visits, sometimes at short notice. Bluebird is always so flexible and accommodating. The carers are very professional and kind, and always raise concerns when warranted. It has really helped our family during this pandemic knowing Bluebird are on hand.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, this really means the world to us, knowing that we are doing the best we can in difficult times.
Bluebird Care (Ashford) have been a wonderful help to me during a very difficult time looking after my partner with dementia, Parkinson's and various other medical problems. All their staff are delightful and willing to help with anything. They are friendly and helpful, caring to myself and my partner who is treated with dignity and not condescending as can happen. I will always be grateful and would highly recommend them.
I care for my wife and Bluebird Care provide a domiciliary Carer to sit with my wife once a month. The service provided by both Bluebird Care and the Carer has been outstanding. The Carer is very friendly and gets on incredibly well with my wife. She joins in with my wife's crafting and helps with the garden flower pots. I am fighting hard to get more time from Bluebird Care with this particular Carer as her time has been incredibly helpful.
Very good service always on time or phone to let me know if there's a problem. I would recommend Bluebird Care which my husband has been having for the last year and staff are always polite and caring and respectful and helpful. They try to encourage my husband to do something e.g games etc to improve his cognitive ability.

Meet the Team (3)
With over 10 years of experience in Health and Social Care, I began my career as a Carer and have since progressed to the role of Supervisor. Currently, I serve as the Coordinator and Trainer at Bluebird Care Ashford, where I take pride in recruiting new staff, conducting supervisions, spot checks, end-of-probation reviews, appraisals, and handling any incidents as part of the on-call team.
My qualifications include 'Train the Trainer' and a Level 5 in Management and Leadership, and I recently became a Dementia Friend. I'm always eager to expand my knowledge and skill set to better serve our team and clients.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and two dogs, going on holidays, shopping, and having fun evenings out with friends.
I am deeply passionate about training and mentoring new staff members, helping them grow and succeed as care experts within the company.
With over 25 years of experience in the care sector, my journey began at the age of 15 when I worked as a cleaner in a care home. Over the course of 21 years, I progressed to the role of Care Expert and then Senior Care Expert, completing my NVQ Levels 2 and 3 along the way. During this time, I gained extensive experience working with individuals living with dementia.
After leaving the care home, I worked in two other care settings before transitioning to a private ambulance company, where I completed my FREC3 training. I joined Bluebird Care just over a year ago, initially as a Care Expert before applying for the position of Customer Supervisor.
Outside of work, I am a proud mother of three and enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. I love going for walks in parks or by the beach, appreciating the outdoors during my downtime.
"In my current role, I take great satisfaction in visiting customers for reviews and assessments, ensuring we provide the best possible care."
I have worked in the care sector for just over 15 years. I started my career as a care worker, then moved on to palliative care and supporting people to remain at home for the final days - this was when I realised what a difference care within your own home can make, and my passion continued to grow! After fulfilling this role for over 2 years, I moved into the care office, assisting with managing the care rotas, assessments, recruitment, supporting care staff and the general day-to-day running of the service. Within this time, I completed my level 3 in health and social care, as I had completed my level 2 at college. I was then promoted to become the registered manager of the service. I fulfilled this role for 7 years.
Whilst performing my duties as a registered manager, I went on to complete my level 5 in leadership and management in health and social care and was awarded this qualification in 2021.
Within my time as a registered manager, I won the KICA Registered Manager of the Year award and was also a finalist at the Great British Care Awards.
I believe my journey through care has enabled me to grow, learn and achieve the best outcomes for the people using our services, and I hope we can continue this for a long time to come at Bluebird Care Ashford.
