Overall Experience

Yorkshire Care at Home helped me look after my seriously ill brother for 3 years. The care he received was excellent. All carers treated my brother with respect and discretion. A report was written at the end of each visit which was very helpful to reassure me that he was taking his medication on a

regular basis. In times of crisis, both the Carers and Office Staff worked as a team to get medical support when appropriate. I would not hesitate to recommend this agency. I am extremely grateful for their support.

Overall Experience

From my first meeting with this company, I knew my family would be in safe hands. I care for 3 adults. They researched my sons' rare condition, discussed my father's needs and gave me advice on how I could improve my effectiveness in handling the care and wellbeing of my charges and myself. The whole

journey with them has been such a positive experience and we have benefitted from their involvement. All staff are briefed fully and introduced personally to the user. They are friendly, professional, caring and a pleasure to work with. Extra training has been undertaken by all staff to safely care for my sons' complex needs. Interaction and wellbeing development are imperative and every one of the staff have found their own personal bond and interaction with their charges. It's a joy to watch. The company do not only care for the user but for those who care for them. I cannot give enough praise to this company and I am so grateful to have found them.

Overall Experience

Yorkshire Care at Home have been looking after dad now for over 1 year. I was blown away by the Registered Manager in the initial conversation and that professionalism, dedication and absolute aim to deliver the best care possible is consistent across the whole team. It's difficult handing over the

care of a loved one to a 'stranger' but it is the right thing. This team have given dad better care than I ever could - they know absolutely what needs to be done but more than that, they have become friends. Both I and dad have absolute trust in all the carers that are involved - the fact they aim to keep the team consistent is great but when a new team member joins it is never an issue as everyone is well trained - but more than that, they demonstrate the same company values and soon join the merry gang. It's not just about the physical care, these guys have a laugh with dad and contribute massively to his mental well-being as well. I can't recommend this company enough, they are absolutely fabulous.

My aunt has been with Yorkshire Care for the past six years or so and we could not be more pleased. The team has made every effort to ensure she is well looked after. Her regular carer has become a great friend and is someone I trust completely. If there is ever a problem, the manager is on hand to

offer advice and will pop round and see my aunt sometimes just for a cup of tea. I wish I could write a review that fully reflected how supported my aunt and I have felt over the past six years. Yorkshire Care are a lovely team of people who really care.

Overall Experience

The responsibility of caring for my dad, especially over a long distance felt huge. I was so lucky to finally cross paths with the lovely staff from Yorkshire Care at Home. They have helped, guided and supported my father's care enabling him to remain in his home where he feels happiest. Apart from

the daily support with his needs they are warm, welcoming and provide kindness with every visit, nothing has been too much trouble for them when discussing his care. I can honestly say that they allow me to sleep at night knowing that he is safe and well. I could not be more satisfied, I am grateful they are there to support Dad and allow him to continue to lead a happy life.

As a family we would like to say a massive thank you for the care given to my mother, albeit for only a few days, but the love and care they gave to her and for the family too in those last few days, talking to us, asking how we were (and the hugs) was massively appreciated by us all.
The ladies that

visited her four times a day demonstrated great care, kindness, empathy, dignity and respect towards my mother and the family. It felt like we had know them for ages and we fully appreciate their work, more so now after witnessing their day to day work, I couldn't do it! Thank you so much.

I cannot praise the team enough.
Professional, friendly, efficient and willing to go that little bit extra.
They looked after my husband during the last three weeks of his life and were so lovely. Always friendly and straight away we felt comfortable with them. They tended to him with care and dignity

and made him feel at ease.
So nice to talk to them, especially when I was having some sad and difficult moments. We were going to have an overnight nurse but they immediately put in action for themselves to cover this job. They felt like good friends. I always felt reassured by their presence. Sometimes they came and didn't have really much to do but just chatting with me or my husband was a tonic.
Highly recommend them.

Overall Experience

Yorkshire Care At Home Ltd provided care to a member of our family for end of life care for over 6 months.
I was impressed with the professional detailed assessment undertaken. The assessment accommodated multiple requirements and preferences, some of which we did not expect to receive thus providing

additional confidence.
Together, we achieved an excellent care package.
As expected there were always going to be some teething issues initially as it involved becoming familiar with the service user & family. These were addressed very promptly & sympathetically by the office. They were always willing to go the extra mile.
The carers were very well natured and conducted themselves professionally. They quickly formed a rapport with our family member sharing a lot of banter which were thoroughly enjoyed.
I would like to say a massive thank you to ALL the office staff and carers -

What can I say but a tremendous "Thank you" to all the splendid carers who have magnificently supported my wife and all of our family over the last few weeks during her recent illness. My husband has been receiving personal care from Yorkshire Care At Home for about two years, the care he receives is second to none, we both cannot praise the carers enough.
