I would highly recommend Chelmscare as a stay at home care provider. My father has had 4 carers a day since February 2024 and the care he has received has meant he has been able to stay in his own home. The carers and supervisors listen to and adhere to his needs. One of the supervisors meets with him regularly to ensure his needs haven't changed. Any minor problems have been dealt with promptly and efficiently. During recent hospital stays the communication between Chelmscare and myself and Chelmscare and the hospital have been excellent.
A number of staff go above and beyond, in order to ensure my mother and myself are left content before they leave.
The majority of staff and management are supportive and proactive when situations or concerns arise.
Thank you for taking the time to provide such positive feedback.
We are new to Chelmscare, however, after nearly two weeks, we have found they are an efficient and well-organised company. The carers look after my partner and visit three times a day. Each carer has shown respect to my partner and our home and provided an excellent level of care to meet his needs. The office staff keep us fully informed and accommodate our requests quickly.
I'm so grateful for the care given to Dad, it means I know that for a part of the day, he has someone with him, chatting and caring for him.
Thank you for all you do.
All the best.
The Chelmscare staff were so much more than my mum's agency carers - they were the people I could turn to for advice and support. My mum loved them, and they were my lifeline. They treated Mum with the respect she deserved and always with a smile - even in the worst of situations.
I am really grateful for the care given to my mother and appreciate how responsive you are when I call the office. It has given me peace of mind knowing that you are taking care of her on a daily basis. I do believe the care and company provided are very helpful for her dementia and break up a long, lonely day. Some of the carers have become friends who she looks forward to seeing. Thank you to all at Chelmscare.
All the best,
Claire.
I found Chelmscare staff to be caring and supportive to the client but also to their family. They communicate with the client and also keep the family well informed. I found it a working relationship with all staff, whether it be office or carers. The carers who looked after my mother went out of their way to keep her comfortable, well cared for and happy. I cannot thank them enough for all that they did for her.
Dear Elaine, thank you kindly for your lovely review, it was a pleasure for all our staff that visited to provide the care that you all needed, we each hold such fond memories of our journey together. Take care.
All the girls were so caring and compassionate with Mum and dealt with her many moods still smiling whilst looking after her. They were always cheerful and phoned me regularly to keep me informed, they also live close and constantly kept a lookout and stopped her many times when she wondered.
Best Wishes.
What a great team they are at Chelsmscare Borehamwood. From the office to the hands-on carers. All helpful, caring and friendly. They looked after my mum and dad fantastically, going over and above what they needed to do. Both my parents looked forward to them coming in to see them. When Mum and Dad were ill they were so caring, communicating with the family and waiting with them until we got there. Always so caring, I would highly recommend Chelmscare to anyone looking for carers for their family.
Thank you for such a lovely review, it was a privilege to provide support to your parents and you all as a family.
Best Wishes.
Both carers were amazing, however, everyone else that attended with them were equally as good and we are grateful to them all. For you all it is part and parcel of the job you do and it's easy to underestimate the difference it makes to people's lives. You have all made a huge impact on our lives and been there when we most needed it and I am sure you will carry on making a difference.
We wish you all the best.
This was my second time of being cared for by Chelmscare so it was like meeting old friends again. The carers were all very good, punctual, helpful and friendly. It made it a pleasure to have them come on a daily basis. I would recommend this agency highly.
Best Wishes.
Can not fault the team. Mum's really happy with the carers, they meet her needs, often going above and beyond. Communication with them has never been a problem, always quick to respond to emails or calls.
Best Wishes.
Always very helpful and nothing too much trouble, they always turned up on time and went above and beyond sometimes which, as I live far away, was peace of mind for me and my wife. They would take my brother-in-law shopping and get him out of the house and kept us updated, sometimes in their own time.
Best Wishes.
I have always found all of the team at Chelmscare Borehamwood to be very helpful and responsive to any questions asked. The carers are efficient and polite to my mother. The staff are always happy to assist when asked.
