Anni care was referred to us by NHS for palliative care for my father. For 20 days the teams came in 4 x per day to help clean and change him which they always did with compassion and respect. They were all such caring people and would always check if my husband and I were ok too. Even in my dads latter stages where he was semi conscious they continued to greet him with a smile and walk him through everything they were going to do. Truly wonderful people and service!
Staff are prompt, or make contact if there is the occasional timing problem.
Management has responded to the odd request for a minor change to arrangements.

I have only been using Annicare since May 2025 but have been extremely happy with the service provided. As my husband has Alzheimer's it is helpful that he has consistency, so it's good that he has only ever had 2 different Carers. Both are lovely ladies and very proficient at their job.

From what my mum had said she has had an overall good experience.
The staff have always been really friendly and do exactly what my mum asks of them. Recently they have gone overboard and gone the extra mile to help my mum out and support her when no one else would.

First week was a bit of a hash as the carers weren't used to my husband, a few days were a nightmare, no carers, carers turning up late, untrained staff, I phoned and explained my dissatisfaction with a member of Annicare and the issues were sorted very quickly and we are very happy with the care and support we now have.

We have had carers for Mum for a year now, & they are very good, from the office staff who are always so helpful through to the carers, Mum is a lot better now than she was but we'll be keeping them on as its peace of mind knowing someone is going in everyday and Mum enjoys their company, they're all lovely and nothing is too much trouble, they ring if there is a problem or they are going to be late and I can always get hold of someone at the office whatever time, we did have an issue with the times they were going in but after a quick review, everything is sorted and that is the nice thing about this firm, if there is a problem and you highlight it, it gets dealt with and sorted, most importantly Mum is now very comfortable with them, she found it a bit hard at the beginning as she is very independent but they have never been pushy and always patient letting her take things at her own pace, and communication is really good, so yes I would recommend Annicare to anyone.

Annicare came to our rescue through fast track funding,, and have been our saving grace,, from the staff in the office to the assessment dad had at home through to the fantastic carers, every single person we have dealt with has gone above and beyond to help, they have treated my father in law with the utmost care, respect & dignity,, even making sure that mum is ok & myself,, before leaving, asking if there is anything more they can do for us. Annicare looks after my brother. The carers are very friendly and helpful. Even though they are so busy they always make sure he has everything and done everything for him. The lady from the office who I call if there is any issues, will come out and talk to use. She a lovely young lady and all ways smiling and happy to help.

After a short spell in hospital, my beloved great nan was discharged on end of life care and this was supported by Annicare. We found the adjustment to having carers visit regularly straight forward and with great communication. They supported not only my nan but us as a family, signposting other services and things we may find beneficial. We were impressed greatly with the care received that when we needed, we increased the hours of support to allow my mum a break and ensure nan was kept safe at all times. I wouldn't recommend the Annicare team highly enough from the office through to the carers. Thank you so much!

Coming to put a 50-year-old lady to bed before 9pm when she can't have meds until 10pm.
Basic PPE and infection control as requested by client and family mostly ignored.
Removing outdoor coats and jackets while working with client.
Not all girls, but enough to warrant concern for more basic training. Need to be reminded they could be carrying bugs fatal to next client. Thus hand washing, gloves and aprons essential for vulnerable clients.

Avoid Annicare, if you want your loved ones to remain safe and receive professional care. My mum has Alzheimer's and her medication was kept secure in a lock box in the kitchen. One of the carers left the lock box unlocked, which resulted in my mum overdosing. This could have been fatal, if there had been more medication but luckily for Annicare, there was only one full days supply left at the time. Furthermore, Annicare were being paid for 30 minutes care, twice a day. Most of the time, carers stayed for less than 1O minutes. They also gave my mum food that was not properly cooked, again due to the limited time they stayed. They also missed other tasks clearly outlined on the care plan. I asked for a full investigation, and have tried to chase this up but they have gone silent on me, so I'm just working out the best way forward. I really, really do not want anyone else to suffer at their hands.
Having to access carers was initially an overwhelming thought, but the care and support both my husband and I have received has been invaluable. Knowing they will be coming is reassuring and a relief that my husband is comfortable and receiving the care he needs. They always ask how I am and if there is anything they can help me with. Overall I would recommend Annicare for treating us with respect and dignity.

Inconsistent care. Today, the carers were superb. Friendly, caring and kind. They talked with Mum and actually listened to her. They gave her a thorough wash in the morning. Some barely wash her at all. When I arrived yesterday, Mum cried, she told me that the carers are too rough with her and don't wash her properly. It's also distressing for her not really knowing which carer is coming and at what time. Too many different carers. Today we had two very professional carers - the same at all 4 visits which was brilliant. Please treat Mum as if she were your mum.

I started my career in the care sector in 2011 and have undertaken several different roles since then. I was the community support lead for a couple of years before being promoted to Annicare's homecare deputy manager.
I have been working in compliance and training with Annicare since 2018. I was the sole recruiter for several years while completing my own ongoing training to improve my knowledge and experience.
I am now Annicare's compliance manager and HR assistant.
I have been with Annicare since 2020, I started out in recruitment but quickly moved over to support the finance team, I was then promoted to Assistant Finance Manager in 2022.
