Overall Experience

The carers clean my kitchen for me once a week. They are always polite to me but not interested in conversation, despite the job title of 'carer' they never ask me how I am. They do not seem to be happy, they often swear to themselves while at work, and often do not finish the job. I do not blame the

staff for this because I've learnt that they're badly paid, overworked, and not treated with respect by the management. I've got to admit that having this care is much better than not having it and that it has improved my life. I just feel sorry for the staff and if it weren't the council who were paying for them I do not think this company would survive. According to the staff reviews I've seen the company is much more interested in £££ than it is about caring.

This reviewer has been a service user of Home Care Plus for four years. During that time, he had not raised any concerns about his care through our usual quality process processes, e.g. reviews and surveys, etc.
We have contacted this reviewer to have a talk with him about his care and to see if there is anything that we can do to improve things. It appears that the review was written as a result of him being unhappy with one of our care workers. He has advised us of his preferred care workers who he would like to support him. We will follow things up with the care worker that he is unhappy with as their actions are not acceptable. We have apologised to the reviewer. We have asked him to contact us if he has any other concerns about his care.

Overall Experience

Carers are lovely, can't complain. They have been coming in for 2 years now and although carers change they are all lovely girls. Never had any issues. Would recommend.

We love Home Care Plus. We have a close bond with all of our carers we couldn't ask for better people to take care of our mum. Go above and beyond always and most importantly make her feel at ease.

Overall Experience

Care is excellent, extremely well-managed and co-ordinated. Highly professional and experienced staff who really care. I am delighted with the care my mum receives, her carer is amazing. I wish everyone who is in need of care could have my mum's carer.
