Barclay Specialist Care, care for my friend. My friend has a spinal cord injury since he was 17. Back in 2017 he turned very poorly, another care company took over his care, they were shocking !!! My friend got in touch with Barclay Specialist care through word of mouth, my friend had a meeting with
them and was extremely happy. They listened to how he wanted his care delivered and to be involved in the recruitment process, to my friend this was very important as he has complex care needs. My friend was impressed by the amount of training and support his staff receives, from clinical, operational managers to the office staff. There is someone at the end of the phone 24/7, 365 days a year. To see my friend thrive and leading an independent life, doing what he loves, whether mouth painting, visiting family or days out walking in the countryside, his staff are with him. They have become extended family and its all thanks to Barclay Specialist Care.

Barclays Specialist Care provides care for my friend, who has cerebral palsy and requires 24/7 support and they have consistently proven to be the best care company he's worked with.
The quality of their service is outstanding and my friend benefits from a stable care team that really gets to know
him.
The management and support staff are always available when needed, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Recently, they went above and beyond by securing a new heating system and bathroom for him after he hit a dead end with his landlord - something that wouldn't have been possible without their help.
In the past, dealing with care companies caused my friend significant stress but since moving to Barclays, he can now relax and focus on enjoying life, at last!

I've been with Barclay Specialist Care for six years due to their focus on person-centred care, crucial for my personal care, daily living and independence. The managers entered my life when I needed specialist care. Their professional team recruited and trained staff to meet my needs, involving me
in the recruitment process. This support and training have been vital for staff development and teamwork.
Now, I have a fully trained team of complex care staff who confidently manage my needs, allowing me to plan for the future with the assurance of maintaining my independence. Barclay Specialist Care took over my brother's care package at a tricky time about a year ago. They have made our lives so much easier. They listened to all our worries and made sure the problems we had with previous care providers didn’t happen.
The staff are like family members but are still upholding
professional boundaries. The management is always available 24 hours a day. If you have a question and they don’t know the answer they won’t fob you off. They will let you know they don’t know and they come back to you quickly with the correct information.
My brother has come on leaps and bounds with communication and confidence.
Last month he became very poorly and needed specialist care. We were able to keep him at home and the right staff and support were brought to him.
I couldn’t ever see us being without the support from Barclay care.

The company have provided a good service despite the national shortage of carers, and are helpful and friendly. Always willing to listen to any grievances and problems we may have. I can recommend their services to anyone looking for a family-orientated care company.

My late wife and I had been service users of the Barclay Specialist Care Ltd until she passed away recently. Of the care providers we had been with, Barclay was the best by a significant margin. The carers from Barclay were punctual, reliable, exercised the best hygiene and infection prevention I have
witnessed and knowledgeable. My late wife liked them and relied on them as they were family members. It was also easy to deal with the friendly and efficient staff at the main office too. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend Barclay Specialist Care Ltd.
