Bury Home care really care about placing the right carer with right client. They have helped support our dad by enabling him to stay in his own home, and also by taking him out to do jobs and activities, so he doesn't feel isolated as he can no longer drive. They have provided help that relates to what our dads needs and wants . They are professional and reliable. A great company and we are very glad we found them, as other companies have not been up to their standards.

When I approached Bury Home Care back in November, I was at my wits end. I was so worried about Mum and not sure at all how we were going to get through this next phase of Mum's illness. I now couldn't imagine life without the help of these wonderful people. From the very 1st meeting with them, I found them very professional, caring and understanding of our needs. I felt so much more at ease after having spoken to them. The staff are amazing. Mum has taken to them so well. They're so good with her. They take care of Mum's needs. They help out around the house. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. The difference they have made, to Mum's life, Mum's home, myself & my brother's life & peace of mind is second to none. I highly recommend.

Bury Home Care having been looking after our Mother for several years now. Their help support and care is greatly appreciated. She is treated with dignity compassion and affection. Looking after someone with Alzheimer's can be a real challenge, but they do so amazingly well.We can honestly say that she is happy despite her condition and for that we are extremely grateful to all those who regularly attend to her

We had to accept that after caring for our mother for a number of years we needed additional help. Luckily Bury Home Care was suggested to us. After meeting Anne we felt very comfortable entrusting her team to come into our mother's home and caring for her. Everyone we came into contact with was professional and caring. My mum had no complaints either and if she had been unhappy she would have let us know. Unfortunately due to a sudden change in her health we have had to look at residential care but I cannot thank Anne enough for her advice and reassurance at what was a very stressful time.

After mum had a fall we needed carers to attend twice a day from January 2025 to August 2025.

The service provided was 1st class, communication was excellent directly with the carers and any issues were quickly identified and communicated.

They kept a log for every visit and ensured, despite my mum being quite difficult at times, that the house, her clothes were clean and she was fed each visit.

All the staff had great communication skills with 0 language barriers, the carers ranged in age from 30+ upwards

I have no hesitation in recommending to friends

Never once let us down in 6 months, 2 visits a day 7 days a week.

We moved mum into a care home after her situation changed

From start to finish, the care was excellent. All aspects were carried out in a friendly and very professional manner. The initial assessment through to the actual hands on care were very well thought out and carefully executed, with both compassion and a intimate touch, as needed.

Bury Homecare has been a great support for my mum over the last few months. She lives independently at home but we wanted someone to go in and start her off and set her up for the rest of the day. We wanted a small team of carers so that she would have care if someone was off but also there is always a familiar face.

When I have spoken to the carers they are very professional, upbeat and friendly. They really take pride in their work and treat my mum with dignity and kindness. It is also really useful to have a daily log of what has been done. I also like the efficient communication eg when we have asked for specific checks like her lunch being ready, etc. it is reassuring to have this adaptability which makes her care bespoke to what she needs. I trust Bury Homecare and would happily recommend them to others. Thank you.

From the moment we started using Bury Home Care we have had excellent service - at first it was ad-hoc care but increased as Dads care needs increased, until the moment he took his last breath 9 years later. The team lead by the manager have been exemplary. Dad was wrapped in care and love by the whole team. Having them care for Dad meant that we could take a break and eventually a holiday. I cannot recommend them enough and anyone I have recommended them to, feels the same

Julie, it was truly a pleasure and an honour to be able to support your dad. He was the loveliest, most cheerful chappy who never said he was 'okay'... because he was 'wonderful' - and we're inclined to agree. Thank you for trusting us with your lovely dad, he will truly be missed.

Our wonderful dad passed peacefully at home in February 2025, thanks to the fantastic support my dad and myself and my brothers and sisters received from the manager and all the team at Bury Home Care. They were recommended to use by a friend with an elderly father who also did not want to go into a home. The team started supporting dad with daily welfare visits several years before his health deteriorated to the point where he needed them for all his personal care. That meant he got to know all the "girls" as he called them really well and the journey to four visits a day became a seamless and stress free one. With the team's support in place myself and my siblings were able to focus on spending quality time with dad and not worrying about him when we were not there. Towards the end when dad moved to downstairs living, Louise took the lead in showing us how to access the additional funding needed for dad to stay at home right until his passing. We can never thank all the team enough.
