Many thanks for taking the time to submit this review, in doing so we as an organisation have the ability to reflect on the service we provide in the rural areas we service.With regard to male care staff, we include with in the care planning assesment that customers will always be given the opportunity/choice to select the gender of staff they prefer to provide care, however when there are very isolated instances of sickness and absence, there may be occassions where on certain appointments male staff are the option available.With regard to rates charged working within rural areas, there are overheads that we absorb into the business, on a whole such as increased paid travel time for staff and additional fuel costs. Unfortunately these costs are prevalent and we have never charged additional mileage costs, travel time as a separate charge or place a stipulation on a minimum amount of care delivery time, other than below a 30 minute care call.

I required these care services for almost 3 weeks after returning home following a hip fracture. I had some rehab prior to coming home and as a result I required only personal care consisting of showering alternate days and seated washing on the other days. I found the care workers excellent. They were
very, very helpful and kind. Each carer came in with a smile - a good way to stary my day.

After the loss of my mother, our family faced one of the most difficult times in our lives. My father was at his lowest point, and finding reliable, compassionate care for him felt like navigating a minefield. We tried a few care companies in the beginning, but nothing felt quite right-until we found

Their team has been exceptional not only professional, but also warm, kind, and genuinely caring.


A special thank you to three carers in particular for their kindness and sincerity have been truly remarkable. On one occasion, they not only prepared dinner for my dad but stayed, chatting, laughing, and playing the piano with him. That simple half-hour of warmth and joy brought him a lightness we hadn't seen in a long time.


It's moments like those that make all the difference. Deben Willow Care didn't just support my father they brought a sense of comfort and companionship during a very dark time. We're forever grateful.

Deben Willow carers who came to our house to help us with end-of-life care for my father could not have been more professional. They were all kind and they helped not only my Father but they helped and supported the whole family. They managed to get through the snowdrifts where other services did not
and they were like the Cavalry arriving morning and evening to help us. Thank you Deben Willow staff for all your care and support - I will never forget that they and other teams were very much part of the plan enabling us to keep my Father at home during difficult times.

This care agency is, in my opinion, one of the best. The carers actually care, the supervisors ensure they supervise and step in to sort out any problems. They are responsive, helpful and compassionate. Living over 100 miles away from my dad and being the only carer, I have had to rely on the care agency
more so in this pandemic. They get in touch with me if there are any problems, they go the extra mile it seems to me. One carer, in particular, has a superb relationship with my dad ensuring that his needs can be met (he doesn't see the needs as we do)!
I can highly recommend. I wish all care agencies were as good.

Confusing when you ring the office as not clear which number to press when ringing to sort any issues and there is no number given for clients queries. Wish you were informed if and when your times had been changed (does not include any short notice issues, ie. sickness.)

They have always been extremely friendly and helpful but do not always arrive on time and through no fault of the carers, 06.00 is very early for a first visit. However, I appreciate the social interaction during the day.

We had night and morning care and the service we received was exceptional throughout. Mum's needs were complex and these were met fully. It gave family members respite as well.

The team from the on-site Carers to the office team are all so approachable, friendly, caring, sensitive, efficient and they always go the extra mile without being asked. I could not

The Deben Willow team have completely changed my Dad’s life enabling him to stay in his own home whilst suffering from Dementia. Their understanding of how to deal with his needs is second to none and we as a family fully trust them in looking after my Dad. Recently due to Coronavirus my Dad had been
to A&E with a suspected UTI and was sent home completely confused and they immediately stepped up with all night care until he was deemed safe to be by himself again. I do not know what we would have done as it was out of the question to think about respite care in a Nursing home due to the number of deaths occurring. They do so much more than just look after his needs going the extra mile if need be. Most importantly there is always someone on the end of the phone anytime day or night with worries, concerns or even to just see how my Dad was that particular day if he was more agitated or whatever that day.
