I know how companies can differ in the quality of care as I have POA for my aunt who lives in a different area and deal with her carers (a different company), and I can absolutely say Medical Partnerships are one of the best. I would wholeheartedly recommend them for anyone looking for home care.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write and submit a review. We always appreciate this.
We work in partnership with clients and families to ensure that we are providing the right level of care using enablers such as PASS which is an electronic care management system which highlights all the agreed outcomes and tasks to be carried out by each carer. Our carers promote dignity and respect by ensuring that all our clients are involved in their care to enable them to make informed choices. As a result of this, carers would always check with clients to ensure that the client is in agreement with any task to be carried out and this is crucial, particularly when a carer is visiting a client for the first time. As part of our training, we never assume that we know a client's routine as it may change from day to day. Therefore it's best practice for our clients to engage with our care receivers at all times to maintain a healthy relationship in order to achieve the desired outcome.

Some of the carers have worked in the company for over 10 years.
She developed a passion for caring for the elderly at the age of 18 as she loved spending time with her grandfather and cared for him towards the latter part of his life. As a result of her passion to care for the elderly, she started working as a care assistant at the age of 18. She enjoyed working in this capacity and continued to do so for 12 years. Within that same period of time Yemi studied at Kingston University and obtained a degree in Computer Information Systems Design. She later acquired an MSc in Information Management.
When she was younger, she wanted to study to be a nurse however her father was against her being one hence the reason why she studied computing however her heart was always in the caring sector.
As a result of this, she joined the NHS as a Computer Change Manager at the London Programme of IT. She later worked in various management roles which included Capital Project Management and Transformation Project Management at Kings College Hospital working mainly on the transformation of ED and improving the pathways for the elderly. Her latest role was a Senior Project Manager at Greenwich Council which involved the improvement of the Adult Social Care pathway. By this time she had attained an MBA in Strategic Management.
Despite her success in her career, her passion for care never changed. As a result of this, she resigned as a Senior Project Manager to follow her dream of caring for the elderly which she enjoys. Yemi always says that she sees this as her calling and not as a job. Her best time during the day is when she spends time talking to a client as it gives her purpose.
All the experience that she has gained over the years has helped her to have a good working relationship with CQC, the local council and other health care professionals resulting to working in partnership to improve the outcomes of our clients.
She is very particular of each client including family members and takes the time to relate to each person and she values her staff very highly. Transparency and honesty is her watch word and must never be compromised.
Since her appointment, Medical Partnerships has been transformed in many ways which have proved beneficial to clients and staff. She always has time for a friendly chat and is always smiling.

Lottieās role in the office involves a multitude of activities ranging from supporting the team and our client's queries, to setting up care plans and is partly responsible for the compliance of the company and the training of our care team.
