Our journey with Springwood Healthcare Services began in late 2019. We were just looking for help for my beloved husband-but what we received was so much more. Springwood became our lifeline, our community, and eventually, our family.
As with all relationships, there was an adjustment period. We went from storming to forming, learning each other's rhythms. They understood what we needed-even what we didn't know how to ask for.
The care my husband received was personal and respectful. They treated him with dignity and humanity, never as a task. And they cared for me, too-lifting me when I was exhausted, making me laugh, and reminding me I wasn't alone.
Our home became a space of shared life. The carers were our angels. Tino stayed with us for over three years, never wavering. And Ola, the heart of Springwood, led with love.
Springwood wasn't just care-they were a gift.
When my wife was in hospital 18 months ago. The hospital advised us to use Springwood Healthcare. The carers are excellent, all of them. My wife is very happy with them. I rely on them all the time. I could not do without them. As most of them use public transport, the timings are sometimes a bit erratic, but that's okay as I am always home. I would recommend Springwood Healthcare all of the time.
My regular care worker comes to clean every week. She is polite, hardworking and good at her job. When she was on holiday, her replacement was not suitable for this type of work, so I was not happy. However, the company was very reactive to my situation, did an in-depth customer call to discuss the issues and have responded excellently to the issues.
Springwood are taking excellent care of my mother, all the carers are kind and considerate and I feel they are genuinely fond of my mother. They are friendly and patient. This care company is the best we have ever used. I would highly recommend. Thank you.

• I am an NMC registered nurse. I hold the ENB 928 Certificate ‘Introduction to Diabetes’ and the ENB 998 Certificate ‘Mentorship Preparation’. Diploma in Foot Health and NVQ 4 ‘Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care’. Prior to this, I worked as a Nurse, Midwife and Clinical Midwifery Teacher in Nigeria. Throughout my professional career, I have developed a wide range of expertise and experience in the community and hospital environment in the United Kingdom and abroad, working in all areas of nursing including surgical, medical, orthopaedics, gynaecology, paediatrics, tropical nursing, and the care of the elderly.
• I have worked with a few nursing agencies caring for adults and sick children including children with complex care needs. These I have done in hospital settings and home environments. I have participated in assessing, planning of care, implementing care and evaluating care.
