•   I am an NMC registered nurse. I hold the ENB 928 Certificate ‘Introduction to Diabetes’ and the ENB 998 Certificate ‘Mentorship Preparation’. Diploma in Foot Health and NVQ 4 ‘Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care’. Prior to this, I worked as a Nurse, Midwife and Clinical Midwifery Teacher in Nigeria. Throughout my professional career, I have developed a wide range of expertise and experience in the community and hospital environment in the United Kingdom and abroad, working in all areas of nursing including surgical, medical, orthopaedics, gynaecology, paediatrics, tropical nursing, and the care of the elderly.

•   I have worked with a few nursing agencies caring for adults and sick children including children with complex care needs. These I have done in hospital settings and home environments. I have participated in assessing, planning of care, implementing care and evaluating care.

I have been able to manage a caseload.

Of patients on the ward and the accident and emergency areas.
I have also worked with clients with learning disabilities and mental health issues such as Autism, Dementia and depression.

•   Professionally and personally throughout my career I have continued to enhance and further develop my clinical nursing, training, interpersonal and communication skills. My strengths include being mature, confident, innovative, proactive, reliable adaptable, and sensitive to the needs of others. I am dedicated and committed to any task that I undertake. I work well within a team setting and on my own initiative. I am familiar with the use of information technology within the healthcare environment.
