My frequent carer is superb and has been supporting me through my cancer diagnosis this year as well as my mental health care for a few years. She's been my rock and does absolutely anything I need. I am a physically disabled woman of 84. I need help in the mornings to get up and going. I have assistance from Astar and I find all the carers to be first-class in their help to me.

Gill Holden is the Business Development and Operations Manager at AStar Homecare Services, with a strong focus on strategic growth and service development. She brings extensive experience in the care sector and is passionate about expanding access to high-quality, person-centred care across Shropshire and Cheshire.
Gill works closely with community partners, stakeholders, and internal teams to identify opportunities, build relationships, and ensure services continue to meet the highest standards. Her leadership supports the company’s mission to grow sustainably while remaining rooted in compassion and excellence.
Gaynor has worked with AStar from day one. She has worked her way up from carer to manager, to performance manager.
Michelle started her career with AStar in 2018, not long after the company was created. She is the area manager for Whitchurch.
Rosie is the area manager for Whitchurch.
Emma is an area manager for Malpas.
Anna is an area manager for Malpas.
Jane is based at our head office in Higher Heath.
