Thanks you so much to the whole team that attended my partner. The care was wonderful, always caring, punctual and polite. They even advised us when to call for extra help with medication from the district nurse. Could not fault them.

I would like to thank the Manager and her team for all the support and care they provided for my dad in the last few weeks of his life. They were kind, compassionate and always professional. Thank you for everything you did for dad and our family.

My father who had dementia was put on a 12-week end-of-life care program from Southend Hospital, and we were extremely fortunate to have been allocated Divine care. I was extremely apprehensive about having any type of care agency involved as I had looked after my father for 19 years with no outside
support and knowing the nature of my dad's illness and his apprehension upon strangers entering his home, my fears were alleviated immediately on meeting the Manager and her team who immediately came and introduced themselves and quickly put us at ease. My father was extremely opposed to anyone else caring for him other than me, but again my dad took to her and her team like a duck to water, much to all our amazement. The weeks that followed were the hardest of our lives both physically and emotionally, but Divine Care were extraordinarily compassionate and professional and looked after my father like he was one of their own! They went up and above and the extra mile!

I would like to say the team provided my mum with a brilliant service and I was blown away by the care and commitment they provided. They were compassionate and professional and made sure she was looked after in the last few days of her life. I must admit I was very nervous, to begin with, having carers
looking after mum. But I can honestly say they have done themselves proud with the care they have given to mum and our family. Thank you so much.

We entrusted Dad's care to Divine when he was diagnosed with bowel cancer and needed palliative care. All of the carers, without exception, were kind, compassionate, professional, very caring, patient, dedicated, understanding and considerate not just of Dad but of Mum and the rest of the family.
Nothing
was ever too much trouble and the level of care and attention to detail was exceptional. When needing to contact the office for help or advice, the phone was answered quickly, and the issue solved with care and compassion.
Bearing in mind the type of cancer Dad had, he was always treated with dignity and the utmost respect. As a family, we are incredibly grateful to the whole team who did so much for Mum and Dad, until Dad's needs changed and he had to go to a nursing home.

In early 2021, my 91-year-old dad spent two months in hospital with Covid. Before that, he had been living a fulfilling life on his own at home. After discharge, he was faced with an arduous and uncertain battle to regain his independence. We were so lucky that Divine Care Group was appointed to support
Dad. Their highly professional care was sensitive, unswerving and totally patient-focused. They were pivotal to getting Dad back on his feet. The manager’s in-depth experience in the medical sector was crucial to us navigating the confusing healthcare system and understanding what to expect.
After Dad’s recovery, Divine Care continued to support him for one hour per day. They always went the extra mile and were always vigilant and there for Dad when he needed extra or emergency support. They became very much valued friends to Dad and our family. Dad passed away from cancer last autumn but I know that he would have joined me in wholeheartedly recommending Divine Care.

Nearing 90, Dad was frail with heart disease and Mum had many health issues including cancer and dementia. Still believing they could live independently, they were resistant to accepting much-needed help, but reluctantly allowed Divine Care led by the manager into their home. The carers understood the
sensitivity required, always remaining respectful, caring and understanding, even when my parents were challenging, particularly Mum due to dementia. Initially, there were 2-4 daily visits, assisting with personal care, meds, meals etc., but with increasing frailty and the fact our parents wanted to remain at home, this eventually led to live-in care and Divine became like part of the family. Having had a long nursing career and extensive experience in the care sector, the manager was invaluable during difficult times, supporting and guiding us through the complex and often bureaucratic health/social care systems. Sadly, care is no longer needed for my parents, but we remain grateful to Divine Care.

The care Divine has provided for my wife is amazing.
I cannot speak more highly of them. We have a regular team of two and my wife likes them and they appear to like her.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for Divine Care Group Ltd is calculated as follows: ( (39 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 39 Ratings = 5

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Divine Care Group Ltd is based on 7 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 4.7
