They took time to review Moms needs then lost it. No plan was in place so they again took all the details. On the first day giving care they claimed Mom was out and we know she was not. Asked mom to go to front door and no one there. Unfortunately Mom then locked out! (Mom has dementia hence...
They took time to review Moms needs then lost it. No plan was in place so they again took all the details. On the first day giving care they claimed Mom was out and we know she was not. Asked mom to go to front door and no one there. Unfortunately Mom then locked out! (Mom has dementia hence requiring care). Finally care provider arrived as she had got lost. Had not read the care plans, left after 28 minutes of a 1 hour call. I gave feedback to manager who cancelled the care plans. In short they promised lots and delivered nothing. Would recommend all to stay away.

Following the concerns raised, we carried out a full internal review and communicated directly with the family regarding the circumstances surrounding the commencement of the care package. Whilst we accept that aspects of the initial service and communication did not meet the standard we aim to provide, some elements of the review do not fully reflect the contemporaneous care records and findings of our investigation.
