The only reason I do not use this care company any more is that social services will not let me. I have had several different carers with them all of which varied from good to excellent. If I had the money for private health care this is the company I would use.

Their timekeeping is very good, they respond well to changes in my needs, and all tasks are efficiently carried out. I am safe in the knowledge that they will not me down and they are friendly and genuinely caring.

I have been getting care for my daughter for the last 6 months and it has truly changed my life so much. I have been able to spend time with my other daughter as I know that my daughter is in safe hands. The nurses show so much respect and care towards her and make sure she has everything she needs to be comfortable. They are also very understanding about the situations we have regarding my daughter. They are always on time and come out twice a day.

Any minor issues are dealt with swiftly and effectively and all staff who attend to my parents are trained to the highest levels and supported well by the management team who always keep me updated.

My only criticism is inconsistency in arrival times which I believe can be sorted.

Mellowcare has been providing home care to my son three times a week for the last 10 months. I found them to be responsive, flexible and most importantly kind, understanding and caring. My son always looking forward to seeing his carer again. He enjoys the company of a regular friendly face and has built up trust and friendship with his carer. My son has cerebral palsy and he has limited motor movement and a speech impediment which is very difficult to understand, he gets frustrated when he can't express his views and he can be demanding, but the carers are very understanding and patient. Thank you Mellowcare for providing my son excellent carers. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a trusted partner in caring for a loved one.

I have found Mellowcare Ltd react to urgent/outside-of-normal visits very quickly, there is always someone available to answer the telephone in such cases. As one would expect there are hiccups along the way but they are always remedied without any fuss or delay. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

We have always found the company reliable, caring, pleasant and treat us with dignity.

Staff and management are excellent in supporting and communication is excellent. Management always at the end of the phone if needed. Staff are friendly and helpful, they always keep in touch with me. I would recommend them to anyone.

Mellowcare have looked after my elderly mother in Derby for over three years with enormous care, kindness and professionalism adapting their services with flexibility to her changing needs. We are extremely happy with the service they are providing.

When there was an emergency, which required more care and attention and none of the family could arrive quickly, the manager came out to help rather than Dad and the carer struggling. Most importantly Dad was happy to see the carers.
