The carers seem to try hard is to do their jobs. We are talking with them regularly as things change. We have just asked the carers to supervise ear drops twice a day, and to update the log book. They agreed to do this. All carers are very friendly.

Overall our experience was only satisfactory. Home first package did not meet my mother's needs at the beginning and carers ran out of time to finish either food or personal care. Extra time was given, by me contacting Home First direct which helped. Several of your carers were very good- I wish I could name names. However, there were others that were unsatisfactory- mainly due to medication. I had to oversee them and tell them what to give and how to follow instructions on their phones. Some where travelling on trains and buses which made them late. This then impacted times of medication requirements and times of meals.

Pauline and Tim have been excellent in time keeping, jolly attitude and very nice to David. They are always engaging and very efficient in their approach. Always grateful when it is Tim and Pauline making the visit!

We love the main carer, all carers are smiley, welcoming and friendly.

I would happily recommend Southern Counties Caring to anyone looking for care in their own home.
