It took a while to get the correct cover;s for my mum when we first started using your company. I am now very pleased with my mum's main carer. Her attention to detail is very good. We still have occasional issues which I discuss with managmenet but overall am happy with the service provided at this moment in time.

I have found all the carers to be excellent. They wash and dress him after helping him out of bed and are so cheerful, and he (my husband) looks forward to them coming each morning. Their help is very satisfactory.

We've been pleased with the service on the whole, but the organisation needs to be better and answering of messaged quicker. We have had some problems with helpers, which have not been all looked at, and some were serious! Some helpers have been excellent.

From my first point of contact Helping Hands have been as their name describes a great help with the care of my elderly frail mother. The initial discussion was arranged quickly and all the decisions involved mum too. The office were quick to respond to any alterations of the care plan. Her carers were friendly and kind. They not only cared for her physical needs but took time to talk to her. The service provided was very flexible and understanding. The team also provided support to me and would contact me promptly with any concerns. I would have no hesitation in recommending Helping Hands Home Care.

Helping hands have provided an excellent care package service for my auntie. The senior staff have responded to any tasks or changes, especially at short notice. The care staff who have looked after the care needs of my aunt have been a great support and good company for my aunt. They have responded to any emergencies that have happened.

All the carers are lovely, they will do anything for you. I have had some good chats about all sorts with them. So happy I had them. Thank you.

I am very disabled, requiring hoisting to get in and out of bed etc. Helping Hands have dealt with my situation brilliantly. The carers do everything to preserve my dignity with a happy, friendly but professional demeanour even on the few occasions when I've had a high temperature with an infection. I feel that I was very fortunate when I joined this company.

Management and staff good experience, care, support good and I have always been treated with dignity. So far, the care is from one or two people now familiar to me. I would not like different people continuously. I have difficulty paying as I am housebound, old and alone, know nothing about information technology. Credit control is poor at answering the phone. I was a satisfactory nurse and midwife.

We used Helping Hands Home Care for over a year whilst my mother-in-law was still able to live independently at home. The care and friendship that was given to her were so valuable to us because we live over a 5-hour drive away. Whenever there was an issue, either a practical one with her home or something concerning about her behaviour, one of the carers would contact us so that we could get further help. They were always proactive and the regular reviews were very comforting. The staff obviously knew her well and were able to monitor her behaviour and health as the months went by. My mother-in-law has now moved into full-time care but we would recommend Helping Hands to anyone needing a care package. Thank you.

Living a long distance away it was reassuring to know that mum was receiving good care and that we would always be contacted if there was any concern. When visiting we were pleased to see the caring interactions the staff had with mum. Our interactions with staff/management have been positive. We would recommend Helping Hands as a reliable and caring service.

The carers without were friendly kind, caring and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. The office staff were patient and helpful whenever my daughter phoned. If ever we are in need of a helping hand you'll be our first port of call.

The office staff were nice and explained to me and my mother-always able to answer any questions. My mother did not want her independence taken. The staff were very supportive in working alongside her to achieve this. They built up a warm rapport with her and were able to keep her safe in her one home.

Since the start, all the office staff have been extremely helpful and the communication and follow up excellent. The carers have really begun to forge a good relationship with my mother, who was very reluctant to accept any help at the outset. Everybody from the office who comes to see my husband has been kind to us. I do not know what I would have done if they had not been here for us when we moved from Leeds to Halifax. I am so grateful to everybody at Helping Hands for what they have done not just for my husband but for me as well.

The manager at Halifax is exceptional. She has a really good understanding of the client's needs. More important is her uncanny ability to think laterally, often pre-empting problems before they arise. Also, as I live hundreds of miles away, I am reassured by the manager's oversight and ability to coordinate the many aspects of Aunty's care.
