I cannot praise this company enough. Their carers combined professionalism, kindness and deep human sympathy when supporting my mother in her last month of life. They were punctual, efficient and kind - their website states that they provide the best levels of care and I have no difficulty in stating that, in looking after my mother, they proved that this is true.

My mother was cared for by the wonderful team from Protect Hand care four times a day for 2 years and 24 hours a day in her final 2 weeks. They were all very patient, respectful, kind and treated my mum with dignity. The manager was always available to help and the team contacted me with any concerns. The service they provided allowed my mum to stay in her own home, which was her wish, until the end of her life. Our family trusted all of the staff implicitly which was a comfort when she needed 24 hour care and attention. We are grateful to the whole team and we highly recommend their services to anyone. Thank you all for your help, support and dedication during this difficult period.

I would have no hesitation in recommending ProtectHand to anyone else looking for terminal care.

I'd like to thank all the wonderful staff at ProtectHand for the wonderful care they gave to my Mum during the last 4 years. Staff always treated my mum with dignity and respect. They provided personal care gently and kindly enabling her to remain in her own home. Every member of staff showed an interest in Mum. Reporting any concerns to us quickly, we felt Mum was in safe hands. Thank you ProtectHand for all your kind, professional and compassionate care.

All staff were very professional and respectful. They were always smiling and cheerful and showed great empathy towards my husband. They were very kind and gentle, not only to my husband, but to myself and my daughter during what was a very difficult time. We cannot thank them enough. They are great ambassadors for your business and your profession.

Excellent empathetic care. Always on time always cheerful and kind to my husband. No corners cut, professional and kind to me. Hygiene standards were high, all staff very respectful and hardworking. I am in total admiration of the job they did. Couldn’t fault them.

Excellent! My husband came out of hospital at the end of April last year, very poorly and we have had 2 carers, 4 times each day since then. The care manager promised us that we will always have at least one carer per visit that we know and to this day, she has kept her word. The girls are lovely, they always treat my husband with respect and are so caring towards him. They are so clean and tidy. When they have a new girl training, she shadows the girls for a while and then comes as part of the team. They are trained to a high standard and care manager attends also. I have had many dealings with care companies over the years who dealt with my grandad and father in law and some of the carers themselves were appalling, whoever trained them up, or was managing them should not have been given the contracts. Protecthand Care company, I have recommended to many of my friends who also have Parkinson’s and healthcare professionals, because the care given is excellent.

This is the only way we can keep my sister in her own home with familiar surroundings. She has great care from Protecthand care and great company, which is key to her happiness and I would highly recommend them. I have a great relationship with the staff and manager.

The Protecthand Care team is absolutely wonderful. They provided care for my grandmother who was poorly at the time and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with how they took great care of her. From washing her, to feeding her, and everything in between, the girls did everything with so much care and compassion. My grandmother’s health improved because of them and she was a lot more talkative and energetic as a result. I can’t thank Protecthand Care enough. I would highly recommend them.
