Generally the service is good although the service providers differ has has to be expected some excellent others satisfactory The change round in staff is high and it would be much better to have more continuity
There are 2 sides to Klasscare one good and the other bad. The most important one is the care the staff provide which has always been great. Unfortunately this is not backed up by the office staff who let the side down. Poor communication and management, changing times of visits but not letting any one know being the primary problem. I wouldn't mind but I managed a domcillary care company myself - I know problems arise so I understand , just pick up the phone and communicate with your customers. I also used to phone the client or those responsible for their care once a month just for a catch up to see how things were going. Nothing from the office. As I said the ladies who visited were lovely and caring but to the office staff you appear to be nothing but a number.
Possibly if the needs of the prospective user are the same as mine. The care given varies, all with one exception of the cares are nice people, but some people are doing a job rather than caring for you. Attendance timings can fluctuate, this was because of road traffic, staff shortages through health etc., but I was never left without anyone to come. Language can be difficult with foreign carers - but hand signs can usually manage to get things sorted.
The carers are professional, compassionate, and reliable, assisting with my personal care, and light domestic duties, my flat is always kept up to a very good standard. They are always very friendly and do an amazing job.
The office staff in the office are always friendly and always happy to help if the situation arises.
Overall, I highly recommend Klass Care for anyone seeking friendly and compassionate home care. Their services have brought me peace of mind and improved my daily life.

My elderly aunt was very nervous about having carers coming into her home, but after breaking her hip she needed help. From out first contact with Klass Care I was impressed by their concern for my aunt's needs while also being an efficient organisation. My aunt took to her carers and the office staff from day one. They all treated her with dignity and great care. Nothing was too much trouble and carers would happily stay beyond their time if my aunt needed them. My aunt enjoyed chatting with them as friends. Communication with myself was excellent. Through the website I could see what each care visit had involved, and any time I called or emailed the office I received a swift response. Sadly my aunt became seriously ill again, the carers found her and acted swiftly to call an ambulance, contact me and give the paramedics a helpful handover. Since my aunt has been in hospital, Klass Care have been kind and sympathetic to us.

The client has been a user of the service for over a year. Carers have been coming in four times a day. As she has lived on her own with dementia she so looked forward to the visits. The carers became friends and nothing was too much trouble. They were very patient with her and always happy to chat with her even though she found conversation difficult. She is now in a care home and will miss her visits.

Klass Care are Amazing! They provide my elderly Mother with top-quality care. Their phone line is open 24/7 with a local member of their dedicated team, to speak to in case of any issues or concerns. My Mothers care is local council funded (apart from a small contribution that she makes) and yet she gets as much care and attention as a person paying privately would receive. I give Klass Care a score of 10/10 because of my Mothers, my own experience, and all others that have been involved with them. Klass Care is top of their Class. A+ all around. Thank you.

My mum had Klass Care for a year before having to move to a care home just recently. She was always so pleased to have the visits from the carers. They were patient, reassuring and kind. They were also knowledgeable and used their experience to see what was needed and make suggestions that made daily life easier for Mum. She built strong relationships with several of the carers and I also found them to be excellent when I was visiting. The office staff were efficient and accessible and would respond quickly to any requests. Towards the transition to a care home, they kept me updated on Mum's well-being and needs and it was reassuring to have this contact. They went out of their way to assist at a difficult time. We are both very grateful for all their hard work.

Klass have supported us with home care for over 2 years and all through the pandemic. We have always found the office staff and care staff to be thoroughly helpful honest and reliable. If things outside of their control go wrong, they have always offered a solution or visit ASAP.
Up until the last few months we have been very pleased with the service Klass Care has given. However, in recent months there has been a large number of new carers allocated to my relative which is not good for somebody who has dementia (10 or more different carers a week). We have also had difficulties in contacting on-call. No one gets back to you. There seems to be a lack of continuity in checking medication levels to be reordered via prescription and therefore quite often medication has run out. In our experience, overall communication needs to be improved and the recent carer charge increase is not reflected in a better service.

My father received once a day care for a short time following discharge from hospital. Unfortunately, the prices advertised on the website are not up to date. We booked an hour visit, not really knowing how long would be required. Some days the carer had gone after 35 minutes, but my parents were still charged for the full hour. Generally, the carers were pleasant and helpful.

My father-in-law, whom can be a very challenging at times, has been looked after by Klass Care over the last few months with patience and understanding. I cannot thank all staff enough for keeping me informed and caring for him. The management and admin team at HQ have been amazing and so thoughtful and professional and it has been a pleasure working with them.

I find the carers and office staff extremely helpful and supportive and will always answer my queries and will get back to me promptly if I leave a message on the answerphone. I feel included in their team so we are working together to give Mum the best care and now I don’t have to worry about her all the time as she is being looked after very well.
