Happy with my care.
All the carers who visit me are first-class at their job. My medical condition has been improved with the help and advice given to me by the carers. The team have been with me every step of the way and their encouragement has been the mainstay of my recovery. I have a way to go yet but with my carers' help, I know that I will get there.
Thank you very much for your lovely feedback, we appreciate all feedback.
First of all, I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. Since they have been caring for my mother-in-law, there has been a marked improvement in her, especially on account of her illness. All the carers are affectionate, helpful, sympathetic and understanding and at times, beyond the call of duty.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, it is a privilege to help look after your mother in law. We appreciate all your feedback.
I would highly recommend the Leading Care Company to anyone.

I have used the service of The Leading Care Company for about three months. They give helpful and sympathetic care. The girls always ask me what I need and don't just assume they know and they encourage me. I have always found the staff reliable and efficient. I never feel they are rushing off to the next client. I get the time I need and this is very reassuring.
Thank you very, very much for your kind words; we appreciate all feedback.
I have found all the carers very polite and efficient. They have been very punctual, and have always ensured that everything has been left in good order and have always asked if any further assistance was required.
Thank you very, very much for your kind words; we appreciate all feedback.
I didn't expect to need carers in my forty's, but the carer I receive helps me greatly to manage my day. The carers I have is extremely helpful, and I am treated with dignity at all times. Nothing is very a problem, and she is always happy to help.

The care and dedication provided bt the carers is over and above. Totally happy with outstanding service, so much so, I feel safe to entrust my parents into The Leading Care Company.
Thank you very much for your lovely feedback. Kind regards.
The recent change in management has seen a huge improvement in communication, empathy and care, especially as my Mum’s dementia has progressed at speed.
In particular, the manager and 2 other staff members from The Leading Care Company really do have our Mum's best interests at heart and have been excellent and so helpful in the transition from domiciliary care to 24hr live-in care, finding 2 carers perfect for Mum.
I used to feel anxious calling the office to discuss my mum's care as the reception from members of the team would be incredibly frosty, to say the least, but that has all changed. I now feel when I call the office I am listened to and therefore what’s best for Mum is totally understood. I feel that Alzheimer’s dementia and the impact it also has on the family is appreciated. All of this plus knowing Mum is well cared for makes losing Mum to this awful disease a little easier.
Thank you very much for your very nice review, we appreciate your kind words and honesty. Both the office team and care staff especially more recently our live-in care workers have really enjoyed working with both mum and her family. We are happy to be making a big difference in your lives! Kind regards.

Meet the Team (9)
I have 24 years of experience in healthcare settings having qualified as an optometrist in 2000. I founded the company upon a desire to use my experience in care, professional clinical settings and domestic work to grow a brilliant team to make a true difference in care and in our community. Having carried out domiciliary care for a number of years as an optometrist I wanted to set a new standard in home care.
Abi used to work in customer service, but after seeing the compassion and care from staff looking after her mum who has early-onset dementia, she decided to become a care worker.
After starting as a care assistant for a care company, she excelled and became the training manager, before becoming a registered manager responsible for the operational day-to-day management of the service.
Abi said: “I wanted to make a difference, and hopefully I have done that with the support of such a great, compassionate, caring, and dedicated team. I have been extremely fortunate within the industry and would advise anyone who wants a change or wants to make even the smallest difference to someone’s life; this is the industry to be in. It’s by far the most rewarding job I have ever had.”
Working for TLC has been life-changing, I could not have chosen a better more supportive company to work for.

I have been in care for over 8 years now, I chose to work in care as it was very flexible around my family, I was also massively influenced by my mum who also worked in care and would come home smiling after her shifts, she really seemed to enjoy her role as a care worker. 8 years later I have carved out a career for myself within the industry, starting as a care worker, moving on to a more senior role, becoming a coordinator and finally the quality and compliance manager, I have enjoyed every aspect of my various roles, it has enabled me to have an understanding of every angle of the care industry.
I chose TLC as I knew from my very first interview that this was the right place for me to continue my career, everyone was welcoming and friendly. I believe I can add to this great team and really make a difference in the lives of our clients that we support.
My main responsibility is to ensure that all client care calls are allocated in terms of their needs and wishes. While ensuring that carers have the opportunity to build relationships with the clients.
As well as this I deal with accepting new or revised care packages both privately and through social services.
I have worked in care for about 23 years. I started as a support worker while training to become a qualified learning disabilities nurse. Once qualified I took up a nursing post working with children who had complex medical needs until I left in 2019 to join The leading care company, initially as a community supervisor and the then care coordinator.
I made the decision to leave the NHS and join The leading care Company to give myself a new challenge and have been made to feel welcomed from the start. They have supported me in transferring the skills I already had from my time in nursing and developing ways to use them in the community setting.
I first established my passion for care when my grandmother became ill and I was looking after her. Whilst looking after her, I was also working as a Care and Support worker with other care companies and eventually progressed to be part of the office team which allowed me to develop my skills and knowledge and how everything is dealt with internally. In addition, my degree in Psychology enables me to understand the different situations faced by clients that we support when out in the community doing calls as well as building a relationship with them to ensure that they are always receiving high-quality personalised care. I enjoy working with The Leading Care Company as there are a lot of progression opportunities available and the team are very friendly and supportive. In addition, with my role as a Recruitment Manager, I am able to socialise and meet different individuals each day ensuring that the right candidates are selected to come on board to join our team.
I have over 9 years of experience in health and social care, which ranges from experiences in different care facilities including day centres, residential home care and domiciliary home care. I have a passion to deliver and train staff with exceptional care to all.
I first found my passion as a care worker in 2019 part-time, doing companionship care for an elderly lady aged 85, and I had never felt so much joy and pride whilst working. I then later enhanced my career starting at The Leading Care Company, doing domiciliary care. I will never forget what an eye-opener my first shadowing shift was seeing the care that was involved and how much vulnerable people needed me and other carers. I had never been happier in my job knowing I could make a difference in people’s lives bringing them comfort, peace and happiness. As a Christian, I believe in loving everyone as Jesus loves us.
I then advanced and started working as a training manager for maternity cover. I feel honoured to be able to meet and train new care workers and support them in their role of helping others. I have developed and learned a great deal since starting at The Leading Care company with the support of the friendly office team and look forward to continuously learning and growing whilst teaching others.
Care Coordinator
I used to work in retail before joining TLC four years ago, this was a massive change in my career for me however being part of a care company felt right, I enjoy helping people and making a difference.
I choose to work for TLC for a change, for better opportunities, flexibility most importantly it fits in with future plans and goals. This is a great place to come if you would like to progress, challenge yourself and really feel part of a team then TLC is the perfect place of work.
