Elsie holds a BA (HONS) in Social Work and previously practised as a Social Worker in Adult Services in Edinburgh, gaining substantial experience supporting vulnerable adults with complex health and social care needs. During her time within local authority services, Elsie progressed into the role of Council Officer, further strengthening her expertise in adult safeguarding, investigative processes, risk assessment, multi-agency working, and legal frameworks relating to Adult Support and Protection.

Her strong understanding of governance, compliance, and best practices has enabled her to successfully support services through inspections, audits, service development, and quality improvement initiatives.

Due to her extensive operational and regulatory experience, Elsie frequently steps into the role of Registered Manager when required, providing leadership, guidance, oversight, and service continuity.
