Amongst the many tasks performed, they assist me with personal care, including helping me get cleaned and ready for the day, always with respect and dignity. Their approach is not only efficient but also compassionate, which helps me feel comfortable and supported at all times.
I have experienced no issues with the service, and the reliability and quality of care have been outstanding. Their support plays an important role in aiding my recovery, and I am truly grateful for the dedication they show.
I would highly recommend Spectrum Home Care to anyone in need of attentive, respectful, and dependable care services.
I was with Mr Andrew, fl 37 when the carer named Victor visited,I found him very polite and easy to chat to,he also took care of everything Andrew asked of him with no questions,Andrew was very comfortable and happy with his service,I also noted that he did a few things that Andrew didn't ask of him,ie wiped down the sides in the kitchen and hoovers and mops the floors automatically.
Just wanted to send a message in saying thank you to Victor he is absolutely 100% service to my Brother Andrew I want to thank him so much for all his added hard work and support to my Brother thank you so much
My adult child with complex needs has been using Spectrum for some six months. Our experience is the company is well managed with carers who are well trained and disciplined. They deliver a reliable and professional service with compassion, understanding and patience. Their management of medication, hydration, catheter and stoma needs has resulted in improved physical health. They have also made progress in seeking to reduce anxiety and depression. The company is open to feedback and has shown flexibility in unexpected circumstances. I am very grateful to them.
Each member of the team brings their own personal vibe, be that singing, dancing, drawing/colouring, games, conversations about gardening, fashion or food; patiently encouraging her to be independent with warmth, kindness and humour.
Whilst things may not always be perfect, the team have been open to feedback and collaboration, helpfully providing suggestions to ensure that care is managed as effectively as possible. The service provided has certainly been a game changer for my sister and the family. With thanks to the whole team and in particular, the staff who visit each day.
I visited my brother on 5th March at his residence. My brother was making good progress in recovering from stroke and a bereavement. This is in no small thanks to the good methodical care rendered by Spectrum Home Care. There is a method and organisation to their care aided by their App. The daily care activities are logged into the App which was called upon to satisfactorily respond to my questions. Both sides have gelled in well. However the weekly outing could do with a bit more organisation.
The family have found the care team are very well trained and friendly to mum even in trying times. The visit notes keep us informed as to the activities performed and mums responses at times. All out of the ordinary issues are brought to the families attention quickly so we can resolve them. Really pleased with the ongoing level of care.
Communication between the manager and myself is excellent and as appropriate information is shared with the team in a timely manner,
The carers are respectful, warm, patient, kind and caring and genuinely want the best for my mother despite her, at times, challenging personality.
She has 'pet names' for them all and has her favourites but all carers support her to a high standard.
Don't get me wrong things are not always perfect or how I would personally like them to be, but the team and the manager are always ready to receive feedback and to rectify any concerns.
I am now able to take much needed time away from my caring role, knowing that the carers, with support from management are capable of taking the reins and supporting my mum in my absence.
Keep up the good work!
2025 brought a change to our family which resulted in my mother accepting domiciliary care.
Having experienced substandard support from a different care company, it was a relief to be introduced to Spectrum Care. The team are professional, caring and receptive to feedback; ensuring my mother's needs were paramount.
I will be recommending Spectrum to any friends and acquaintances who find themselves needing extra support. We are eternally grateful to Sat and the team.
A well deserved 5 stars.
We have only been using Spectrum home care services for a few weeks but have been very impressed so far. The carers have been on time, efficient and very patient with my stepdad who is suffering with dementia. I appreciate the continuity of having mostly the same lovely guys coming morning and evening which helps my stepdad. Nothing is too much trouble for them including giving mum emotional support with their positivity. Communication with Sat the owner/manager has been excellent., from the courtesy call before the care began to any inquiries I might have. So far I can't fault them.
On Monday 6th July the carer calling him noticed a change & he was not feeling well & reported it. Meanwhile my father had not been seen on his ring doorbell (very unusual) his neighbour called on him & advised he was woozy & I should speak with his GP. Which I did. None of us 3 children were able to go to him. Due to work commitments. The nurse practitioner called on him. She diagnosed a UTI chest infection & oral thrush. Medication was ordered. Spectrum went to collect his medication & administered it with out being asked. We were so grateful & feel the company really go the extra mile. Thank you so much for all you do.
My mother has early dementia we as a family have had a few different companies before Spectrum became my mums care provider. I would highly recommend this company there staff are excellent at communicating with my mum and myself if they identify any issues the staff and management go above and beyond to provide such an excellent service.i would highly recommend this company if you require care for a loved one I have peace of mind knowing that if anything needs addressing they will be in contact promptly and resolve any issues.thank you too all the staff who care for my mum and the management team .I hope if you find yourself in need of this service you use Spectrum as they will not only bring peace of mind but a feeling of security when I can't be at mums.thank you all at the Spectrum team
We've just started using Specturm for our mother who suffered from a severe stroke last year and since then her dementia has worsened. We were using another care team, and it has to be said the difference in quality, training and general ability is remarkably much higher with the manager and his team. As my mother is of Indian origin, I think one of the biggest benefits of using Specturm has been every team member's ability to speak in Hindi. Though my mother was a practicing doctor in the UK for 30+ years, with her condition communication in her native tongue has been a real benefit. This is especially in my mother's case as her stroke impacted on her recognition and communication centres. Spectrum are a little more expensive than our previous care team, but the difference in skillsets and training we believe is worth it. I would fully recommend the team we have for their care, gentleness, patience and ability.
Have used spectrum for my partner for over 2 years. The carers always show respect, kindness and consideration towards her. Times and service is very good. We are both happy with spectrum and look forward to their continuing good service.
I always get the answers to the calls timely from the management team, carers are nice people and positive behaviour, it has been a long journey with Spectrum Home Care and it's been fantastic journey.
They were supportive, informative, flexible and asked great questions to ensure exactly the right care was put in place.
The manager really made me feel like my mum would be looked after like family. I can't recommend Spectrum enough.
Spectrum have been fantastic, providing care for my mother for over a year now - providing a regular wonderfully kind, considerate, and hard-working carer who is able to use her initiative to spot what needs doing and meet my mother's needs with care and compassion. Couldn't rate them highly enough!
Very caring.
Their timekeeping is good.
We feel lucky we chose Spectrum. They care for my husband who has dementia. And will shortly care for me as well.
I think we were very lucky to choose Spectrum.
My dad receives wonderful care from Spectrum. The communication between the family and the care team is excellent, we are a large family with many opinions, and they manage us well! The kindness and care shown to Dad is exceptional, they really do have his best interests at heart. Special shout out to three carers in particular.
After a year this was reduced to two half-hour periods each day.
I found all the Carers to be very professional, caring, and dedicated.
On two occasions the Carer recognised that I was showing Sepsis symptoms and took appropriate action to get me hospitalised. They stayed with me until the ambulance arrived.
I would recommend Spectrum as a Care Provider. I've been very pleased with the service provided.
