As the family member of a former client, I am sharing the objective outcome of our time
with this provider. Our experience was serious enough that the local authority assumed emergency responsibility for my mother's care.

A formal investigation by the Care Inspectorate concluded today, upholding 4 complaints. The regulator issued 2 formal Areas for Improvement stating that the service must ensure individuals receive their full allocated support hours, properly record and report missed or declined care, and notify family representatives in a timely manner. The service should also ensure personal plans are accurate, up to date, and contain sufficient detail to guide staff consistently. These failures breached Health and Social Care Standards 1.15 and 1.19. The full report can be verified directly via the Care Inspectorate website.

Overall Experience
I would not recommend Care 1 to anyone as it is the worst company I have ever been in. Your times keep getting moved when a new client came on and if you asked for female carers, most of the time you got male. There was no consistency in what carer was coming in and the owner told all carers coming to me not to get friendly with me, which hurt so much.
