My mam was well looked after by all the carers who visited her, they were friendly, she knew them all and recognised them all. They helped her with medication and self-care and occasionally popped to the shop for the odd pint of milk or loaf of bread when I couldn’t get down there, I’d recommend them to anyone and hope if I need them again they’d have a space available as I know my mam and me wouldn’t want anyone else.

For most of my working life, I have worked towards helping to protect the most vulnerable in society. Therefore, it came as quite a surprise to me, when owing to a most unfortunate accident, I found myself for the first time most vulnerable and needful myself. Following being in hospital, I was fortunate enough to be offered home care from Cavendish. I have found the most precious attributes offered by the service, namely respect, understanding, dignity, support, kindness and a feeling of comfort in the carers and company. Cavendish and their values perfectly have helped me through some extremely different times. My initial feeling of vulnerability was soon assuaged and I thank Cavendish for following through with an excellent mission statement.

Since coming out of hospital, she has needed their care and support throughout and they have always been there to assist with her needs.

This is my first experience using home care. I could not manage without this superb and quality team. They have supported me 100% as well as the care and patience shown to my mother; they really are an extended part of our family, completely reliable, knowledgeable and professional in all they do. Having seen first-hand how lovely they are with my mother, I know she is in safe hands. Cannot fault the home care service the team provides, and they are always just a phone call away, giving me guidance and assistance when I dont know who to reach out to. Highly recommend it to anyone needing home care support for their loved ones.

I rang the manager and within an hour she had this all sorted.
The two girls have been a godsend and absolutely done the best job they could.
I live 130 miles away and will never stop worrying but just the reassurance that they could come, no endless phone calls.

Fantastic service from the team that attend to my dad. Very friendly, polite but professional. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and always listening to what he would like them to do to help him. They always have their PPE (personal protective equipment) on before entering the property. My dad is terminally ill and having this care in place in his home makes the time he has left more comfortable.

The Manager and her staff have been outstanding in the care of my Mam, helpful and caring. The Manger has gone above and beyond in keeping her on the books so to speak whilst my mam has gone into respite where there is a possibility of her going home in the near future resulting in her continuing care if required.

Cavendish Home Care have been taking care of my mam's needs for over a year now. They are a family run business and the staff are always very professional and friendly. The management are always on hand and very approachable and the family have been kept well informed of any issues that arise. Needless to say, my mam and I feel reassured that she is receiving all the care and support she needs.

The carers usually arrive on time, but if they are likely to be a little bit late, they ring to let us know.
If I need to cancel a visit, I ring the office and speak to someone who is always helpful and understanding.
I cannot thank them enough and I certainly couldn't manage without their help.

Can't fault any of the staff or management. The carers are really good, they are all excellent and there are no short cuts with them. I can't do without them. The only excellent I didn't give is because I don't like paying, it has nothing to do with the company or the people - just me.
