All my carers are pleasant and efficient. They will always do anything I ask, with a smile. I am pleased and thankful to see them.

Having someone from Helping Hands to visit twice a week has been useful to me, both in helping with daily chores and also being able to chat with someone about any concerns I have. They have all been very helpful and understanding, and I aim to carry on using them in the future.

The HH team have made a massive different to my dad's quality of life and independence. They know him well, and this is because the same carers regularly visit, so dad gets to know them too. They recognise when something is not right and take action. My dad is able to stay at home because they are there to help him, despite his needs changing over time.

Mum's care is very good and the managers at Helping Hands are very quick to contact me with any problems she or they have with her care.

Mum has increasingly become reliant on her carers as her health has deteriorated and now doesn’t regard them as carers but as her friends and long may that be the case.

Excellent care for my mother, all staff are very caring and treat with dignity, very friendly and I often hear my mother laughing with them. They are very patient with her and able to take time and kindly persuade her to do things - eg have a shower we are very happy with the service and would recommend service.

Firstly, the centre manager has been extremely helpful in providing recommendations on a visit plan for my parents, flexing these as their needs change. She ensures that a small consistent team provided the care, and is always able to deliver the service planned. She's an excellent communicator and had met my parents in person, so she knows their needs. If there are any issues, she calls me in person.
The carers themselves are wonderful, caring, and gentle. They assist with everything from getting them up, washed and dressed in the morning, preparing meals, through to their bathroom requirements. One carer even helps out in the garden if time permits. One of my parents can be fairly demanding at times and they have always taken this in their professional stride. As the team is consistent, they really know what my parents like and want. They communicate so that observations made at one visit are known for the next (eg meal planning).

I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My very elderly and frail parents were most reluctant to have care visits so I researched providers very carefully and have not regretted choosing Helping Hands Home Care for one moment. Mum and Dad benefitted greatly from the care service for four months until deteriorating health necessitated a move to a nursing home for them both.
The New Milton branch manager has been extremely supportive and efficient. She was personally involved at every stage of the implementation and development of the care plan and had a solution for every problem that arose. The exceptional team of carers are very well trained and so pleasant and cheering on their daily visits. Also, full Covid precautions were strictly adhered to at all times.

My parents were very happy indeed with the care they received and I would highly recommend Helping Hands New Milton.

I like the fact they never send untrained carers into your home ie, people who haven't been introduced to you and haven't been shown around your home. They always keep you informed of last-minute changes to your rosta, so you know who is coming.
