Meet Kerrie, your Branch Manager for Chippenham
Hello, I’m Kerrie. As the Branch Manager for Chippenham I oversee all aspects of the branch, from the day-to-day running of the business to the work that takes place behind the scenes in order to provide outstanding care to all existing and new customers. I am passionate about providing care within the community and meeting all of our customers’ needs. We provide a tailor-made service to all customers and pride ourselves on providing excellent care.
I have been working within care and education since 1995, supporting children and adults with learning difficulties, dyslexia and autism. More recently I have been working with the elderly, covering dementia, palliative care, eating disorders and mental illness, so I have a wealth of experience across the care industry.
Throughout my career I have been deputy manager for three care homes for adults with learning difficulties, and prior to this I was a team leader for a care agency and managed staff and clients. My responsibilities included delivering care within the community, attending assessments, reviews and liaising with outside agencies to ensure all clients received the best out of the services we provided.
I have a team management qualification and a range of qualifications that are relevant to the care industry.
I spent 18 months as a volunteer for Great Western Ambulance Service (GWAS) as a community first responder, working alongside paramedics attending accidents and emergency within Wiltshire.
