The Nominated Individual is very passionate about Complex Care and ensures that good quality care is provided to the service users across the Optimam Complex Care Organisation. A highly experienced and qualified Clinical Staff member for over 20 years. As the Nominated individual, she provides leadership and clinical advice to the team to ensure that good standards are maintained at all times.

My career started as a Nurse, Unit Manager, Tissue Viability Nurse, Deputy Home Manager, Registered Home Manager for several organisations, Quality and Compliance Manager, Nurse Specialist Advisor to CQC, and Regional Support Manager. Lessons were learned and experiences acquired at each level of my career, both negative and positive, which have shaped the scope of my practice to date.

Academically, I have a Diploma in Nursing, a BSc in Tissue Viability and an MSc in Leadership and Management in Public Services. My passion for quality care led me to the level where I perform the role of a consultant, coaching and mentoring managers to achieve good CQC rating and meet the regulatory standards.

I hold a BSc in Children’s Nursing and have over 11 years of experience working with children with complex care needs, both in the UK and abroad. My professional journey includes working as a nurse at Great Ormond Street Hospital, where I developed advanced clinical skills and gained invaluable experience in supporting children with highly specialised medical conditions.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to providing person-centred care that empowers children and their families. I believe strongly in ensuring that every child’s voice is heard, and I place equal importance on supporting the wider family unit, recognising the vital role they play in a child’s wellbeing.

My practice is guided by compassion, respect, and advocacy. I take pride in working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure care plans not only meet medical needs but also reflect the aspirations, preferences, and individuality of each child.

I am an experienced Project Manager with over eight years of hands-on expertise in delivering complex projects within the telecommunications sector. Over time, my career evolved toward the health and social care sector, where I discovered a passion for making a meaningful difference. Leveraging my project management skills, I have successfully supported the operations of Optimam Complex Care, ensuring effective staffing and the consistent delivery of person-centred care.

Academically, I hold an MSc in International Project Management and a BSc in Political Science, equipping me with both strategic insight and analytical depth.

What motivates me most is seeing the positive impact of our work on the lives of service users. Knowing that our efforts contribute to improving their quality of life is a source of genuine fulfilment and pride.
