Enfield Carers Centre (ECC) provides a comprehensive, not-for-profit homecare service in Enfield and surrounding boroughs. Following a merger with Carers Trust Lea Valley Crossroads, the charity combines decades of expertise to support both unpaid family carers and their loved ones.

Overall Experience

As a former trustee of an adult welfare centre and currently as a client receiving care from the Enfield Carers Centre I am delighted to write this appraisal of the latter in conjunction with its launch of an activity - based service called CONNECTIONS. Since its establishment in 2009 the Enfield Carers Centre has provided an excellent support service to clients in very difficult circumstances, ranging from funding to challenging needs of clients, 'putting client first' has been their motto throughout. For the future, the centre is best placed to take advantage of planned government legislation next year concerning zero hour contracts which will offer carer, staff more certainty in scheduled hours and for the management a wider pool of applicants to choose from. Wish the centre every success.

Overall Experience
Enfield Carers are a very flexible team.
The carers are all very helpful. They are great with my mum, she really enjoys their company and they treat her respectfully.
We have good communication with the coordinators.

Overall we are are satisfied.
