Flexible, knowledgeable, accommodating and above all kind and considerate to my daughter.
Hamelin embrace ideas from family members and are proactive in instigating them.

I would like to say that my son appears to be very settled in his home and with his current staff team. When I have had any concerns regarding staffing or any other matter as issues do sometimes arise, both the home manager and senior management are very approachable and responsive and do take actions to resolve the issue. Communication sometimes appears to be inconsistent with regard to feeding information through from management level to care staff and amongst the care team but I feel this has improved recently. I do feel the need to check things though to ensure information gets passed to relevant person and I am heavily involved in staff meetings and training so it's ongoing.
Thank you for your honest and positive feedback. We appreciate you highlighting the communication issue. We'll continue to work on it, and we value your ongoing involvement in helping us achieve consistency.
The Acorns staff dealt with my grandads funeral exceptionally well. They support Dad to attend the wake and spend time with family and friends. They made him feel supported but not embarrassed around his friends, promoting his dignity and respect. They support him through a very difficult time and as a family we really respect that and are thankful.

My daughter can be very challenging and struggles with change, staff have always dealt with this in an ethical manner.
Staffing has been up and down but I can honestly say I believe she has always been looked after well. The management around this company actually care about their service users.
Thank you for your lovely review. It's good to have the feedback which enables us to improve.
I am more than happy with the many ways he is starting to become more independent, becoming more sociable and developing.
He calls this his home and to me that speaks volumes in terms of his contentment and happiness. My grateful thanks go to everyone at Acorns.
Thank you, what an amazing read. It's been a pleasure working alongside you.
My experiences over the last three years with Acorns regarding my daughter's care I am absolutely delighted. I know my daughter is very happy, safe, and secure, and therefore Acorns for me is perfect.
Thank you for the lovely feedback, what an amazing read about one of our homes and staff. It's been a pleasure working alongside you.
My son transitioned into Acorns smoothly as a direct result of the over and above effort put into it by the team. He considers it his home and is happy. He has a balance between activities and downtime that best suits him, there is no pressure for him to do more than he is comfortable with and he has the staff wrapped around his little finger! I couldn't be happier and it is so reassuring that his needs are put first and foremost by all of the team. Thank you to everyone.

Excellent care provider who put the well-being of the service users first rather than profit. The staff have a genuine desire to look after my daughter and for the first time in her 27 years, I am able to relax that she is safe in someone else's hands and my daughter's behaviour reflects the security she feels with minimal incidents. They have taken the time to understand her and listen to what she needs as an individual rather than following a generic script.

My son has become a very polite and happy young man since living at an Acorns home. He was a very anxious and aggressive person displaying behaviours that were harmful to himself, others and property. He has learnt to regulate his emotions and anxiety to a degree that they are no longer damaging. He has been transformed in so many ways both on a small and large scale. He has begun to become more independent and has learnt many life skills, social skills and friendships. He calls Acorns his Home which is something I never thought would ever happen. The home is welcoming and feels like a home environment. There is nothing I can fault. My son has been in a few places and this is the very best placement and I can highly recommend it. The transformation in my son is nothing short of a miracle. I now have peace in my heart that he is well-cared-for every minute of every day. Thank you Acorns Health Care.
