Nurse Call, awarded 'excellent', was founded by two staff nurses in 2019 who thought there must be a better way of receiving care and all this entailed.
Whilst out on their district nursing rounds, time and time again, the founders saw care being rushed, poorly timed visits or even no visit at all. They also saw the stress caused to patients waiting for the carer's arrival into their personal homes, whereupon...

Excellent care and attention.
Thank you so very much for the lovely, glowing review. We will pass on your review to the staff concerned.
Delighted with the support my Mum receives from Nurse Call. She receives 2 visits a day from a very caring team of staff. Medication is administered, meal preparation is carried out as well as personal care. My Mum enjoys the visits and the chat she receives from the staff. Staff are patient and understanding of Mum's dementia. I feel reassured that she is visited by skilled staff who will report any concerns.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. Such lovely words and extremely happy to hear Mum is receiving the very best.
Learned my detailed needs and abilities quickly although I have many illnesses.
Nurse Call has provided an efficient service to my mum every day since March. They are punctual and have been very kind to my mum. We have an hour service every morning. At the moment, my mum isn’t making full use of the whole hour as she likes to be independent but we realise that she will as time moves on. Staff have been good at communicating with us and this has been helpful.
I find Nurse Call, a reliable, caring company who have my brother-in-law's best interests at heart. I particularly appreciate how they work in partnership with District Nurses and the GP surgery. I find that I can take holidays or attend to other issues and trust that Nurse Call will look after him and provide information on any issues arising. I feel that they plan his social outings to suit his interests and that they are well planned. They have excellent contingencies when staff are ill or have domestic issues.
Since Nurse Call took on Mum's care (4 visits per day) back in October 2023, she has been thriving and she is very happy with the carers, getting to know them well, as they in turn also have got to know Mum well. The management staff ensure that there is clear communication about the timings of visits and also deal with medication, and prescriptions from the pharmacy and have even managed to arrange a house visit from GP when it was required. We feel that our Mum is really well looked after with staff doing extra to ensure that Mum looks her best when heading out for outings or clubs she attends. Overall an excellent team at Nurse Call.
Thank you very much for your glowing review and lovely comments. I'll take great pleasure in passing this onto staff.
I used a previous company who were adequate at best. When I found Nurse Call I was at the end of my tether. The manager and team have taken so much stress from me. They sort my family's needs with love and care. They go out of their way to help, picking up medication from the pharmacy and even reordering it from the doctor's.
They organised OT equipment to make life easier and also filled out the protocol, all jobs that were on my long list.
I can't praise them enough.
We are absolutely delighted that life is now running better for your mum and dad, they can enjoy life more fully, and importantly that you feel more relaxed as a family. We always aim to take the stress away! A huge thank you for your positive comments.
All of the Nurse Call carers are friendly, caring, efficient, understanding and professional. They genuinely care for the well-being of my mother.
I am so happy to have Nurse Call caring for my mum. For the first time, I can relax in the knowledge that my mum is in good hands as I have faith in all of the staff at Nurse Call.
Thank you so much for your wonderfully kind words. It is a delight caring for your Mum and knowing all of her warm family (a warmth that she herself created).
Since starting, we could not be happier with the quality of care. All the staff are great and make an effort to get to know their client so that they can interact with him. The rapport between the client and the staff has improved as they get to know him.
It is our pleasure to be part of your husband's care journey. Thank you so much for your kind words.
I found the staff from Nurse Call very friendly, professional and caring. I witnessed visits at various times during the day, the standard of care was exceptional, nothing was too much for them to do and often went above and beyond to ensure my friend's needs were met. My friend was treated with the utmost respect and given the opportunity to make decisions on their care. My friend tells me that staff ensure their dignity is paramount during all care tasks.
Thank you for a lovely, positive rating. It really is appreciated.
